Perhaps if we eliminate the federal minimum wage and people are allowed to compete on a level playing field in the global market, we would not have almost 20% unemployment right now. I am sure corporations would return to American soil if they could pay wages comparable to those in India and China. $3 a day? You would see unemployment vanish and im sure there are many desperate American who would sell their labor for a hot meal and roof over their head.
