Austin was really great in the show last year, but Lisa was a lot better in my opinion so i think it was right that she went through!

I did think Austin was great, but Lisa improved a lot more than Austin did through the series, she definetly deserved to go through, the waltz she did was absolutely beautiful and she throughly deserved to be in the final be in the final!!!!

I love Austin and he's a great dancer, but I think Lisa is better. She's improved so much and I think she's the best dancer of the final three couples. I want her to win! Stop being so harsh about her, its not her fault that the judges think she's better than Jodie, Austin and Christine, cos she kinda is guys, open your eyes! and there's nothing wrong wiv the judges either.

Its a dance competition, Austin is much better than Lisa, thats fact! the judges should this take into account and look at the overall strctly performances and not just the dance on the night as then its becomes a lottery. Look at poor cherie who also lost to lisa!!!

Oh, for goodness' sake! Yes, Lisa's Jive was not good! She probably acknowledges this herself! But the dance-off was ON HER WALTZ which was close to perfect.

having supported austin through the whole strictly come dancing competition, it is naturally sad that he shall not be dancing in the finals.

i must say that i have loved erins choreography a lot more in previous series (especially her work with colin).

watching the american smooth and salsa i felt that something definitely was lacking somewhere -- so i understand the opinion of judges.

still, salsa versus waltz for a dance off of that kind of importance was not quite -- understandable.

I agree they should either both do a waltz or both do a salsa. But it is impossible to compare a waltz to a salsa on the night. Austin had no chance. The judges should have taken his other dances into account. He is easily the better dancer here and it is criminal to send him home to keep an inferior dancer in the competition.

Man I was annoyed with the judges at the weekend. Poor Austin and Erin, especially as they were so dignified compared to Bratty Brendan!

Its ridiculous that Austin could have received the largest public vote and still be in the dance-off. Seems like cheating the people who pay money to phone in to me. I wish the judges got less say in the results once it gets to quarter final stages like on Xfactor, but I doubt they'll change the rules.

Wanted a Tom -Austin final, as did many others it appears.

Lisa is a pretty girl and danced a NICE waltz to a lovely sound track.Her jive was not so hot.Could she have danced the salsa as Austin did?I dont think so!!!It was the judges that undermarked Austin right at the beginning to put him at the bottom of the leaderboard.You dont have to be a mathmatician to work out how the public voted.Austin got the most public votes but this couldnt bring him from the bottom two. The judges had the last say.Sorry but they let Austin down. Intentional who knows!!!

Your comments about Lisa were absolutely bloody hilarious - not to mention spot on!! I soooo agree about her - no way was she a better dancer than Austin and what about the fact that no-one seems to be voting for her??? This was Austin's first dance-off wheras she seems to have had quite a few (especially when she does her crappy latin dances)!! The reason no-one likes her is because she is arrogant and thinks she is better than everyone else - same as bloody Brendan!!! Tom or Rachel to win!!

I HATE the judges now. I adore Austin Heeley, i really wanted him to win, cant beleive they picked lisa over him. His dance was so much more complicated than lisas. No way should he have gone out. LOVE YOU AUSTIN!

I agree with the difficulty to compare the two dances together. In my opinion bt the quarter finals they should do the same dances as you can then really see who has the edge. Well that's my opinion anyway. Really sad Austin has gone out, I'm sure they will lose views now that the entertainer and great dancer has gone.

From now on, I'm boycotting the show. Austin was incredible throughout the series. All the critism he got was really detailed technique stuff, while others got simple things like posture. They can't compare a waltz to a salsa - a waltz is so much easier. And, if Len had been asked first, he would have so saved Austin.

Fingers crossed for Tom though - am hoping Rachel doesn't win.

All Lisa had to do was follow Brendan, who is the brilliant dancer there. They got rid of John and now Austin, watch out Tom they'll get rid of you next. I so agree, Austin and Tom consistently good from the start...both so entertaining.

I think they want Lisa in next week, so she can be easily beaten by Tom or Rachel, so that they have a boy/girl final - not a boy/boy final...

and I would have found it hard to choose between Austin and Tom if they were both in the final, but Austin had the edge for me, so I am very sad and disappointed.

I was such a state on Sunday- I couldn't stop crying. Austin and Erin should have won.This is EXACTLY why the dance off should be scrapped from the quater final onwards- we lose all the couples the public love because the judges are given WAY too much control. Lisa's been there 3 TIMES! Doesn't that say how the public feel about her?! The judges should be thinking about who the public want to see in the final at this stage. This show has lost all its magic now Eristin are gone. :'(

Im getting a little annoyed at the judges..Heather and Brian were in the bottom, what THREE times IN A ROW, the public kept putting them there and the judges would save them and send somebody else home..

i just simply can not believe how much this year's celebs and dancers are really really wanting to dance till the end and the fight is so fierce. incredible, you can feel the emotions coming thru the screen. it is so tense indeed, so tight and hard to choose who to vote for. it is sad he went but that's the game. someone had to go.good luck to all of the.Austin shall be missed.

in my opinion out of the 4 dancers in the competition austin was always constantly good and in my opinion and some of you he should not of went and i no lisa was better than him in the dance offbut she has been in that situation 3 times and so she is not likely to win he should not of went out i am very disapointed and i think he should of won as rachel has only been good since week 8 i would like to here your opinions to.

Why is everyone SO upset that Austin has left? Lisa is by FAR the better dancer, Austin had become of a bit of a novelty act in my opinion, though in all fairness he is a decent chap. It was a good timme for him to go, we now have three TRULY amazing dancers left in, I say bring on the semis! :)

Austins always been my favourite, so i'm gutted he's gone. However, bases on the scoreboard i knew he'd go tonight so i wasn't surprised.

I did find the judges giving him a standing ovation very touching though.

My ideal final would have been Austin vs Tom, but now its Tom vs Rachel for me.

It was the right decision based on the dance-off, which they have to make this decision on. I'm sad Austin's gone even though I'm a lisa and Brendan fan! I don't think Lisa will win as she's been in the dance-off 3 times, so I want to Tom to win now. As I really don't like Rachel! Think it's amazing what Vincent has done and they've got a great friendship, I just don't get her, I think she's got no personality. But to each their own!

I honstly thought Rachel would not get the phone vote and would be in the dance off (not necessarily go out but just be in the dance off). I'm glad Lisa's through but I do feel sorry for Austin (and Tom), they've been so awesome from day 1 that the judges don't rate them as highly as they should be because they haven't improved so much, and because they expect more even though they've had more since day 1. I want Tom or Lisa to win now.
