This is a great tool , fantastic being able to charge my batteries right where i'm working with the light plugged into a 110v lead , also used it to walk of a pitch black site the other night running on batterie , it;s definitely my favorite new toy !

@man9170 It is li-ion compatible, with the same backwards compatibility as the DC012 radio. I use one of these lights plus the radio as my worksite chargers now, not even bringing the regular chargers to work. One of the charging ports on mine went bad but it is nice to have the backup right there. The light also gets brighter the longer you leave it on.

so does it have an inverter in to run the GFIs off of the batterys? or do the GFIs only work when the unit is plugged in?

@idallan The GFIs only work when it is plugged in. There is no built-in inverter.
