the "Camp Gonnagetcha" ride still exists just in a different theme park. Cedar Fair Entertainment Company has some sort of connection to Knotts. If you go to the knotts website, on the bottom of the home page there will be the cedar fair icon. Click on it and it takes you to their website. There will be a map showing red flags for theme parks and blue flags for the waterparks. The theme parks participate in the halloween haunts just like Knotts.

Ok, I admit that Pyromaniax wasn't too bad, I just think that Red Moon Massacre had a better theme to go with the forest parts of the ride. Werewolves belong in the woods, not undead fire fighters.

It started in 2002 and lasted until 2007. If you want to see what it was like, just look up the video for it here. It should be the first video listed after you type it in.

TPA only filmed the top of the first lift, though. There's unfortunately no (public) ride-through video, that I know of.

Yep, not dissing them. I think it's great that that footage exists. Just still annoyed that Knott's closed the ride early the night that I was planning to film the entire ride-through, thus robbing the world of a permanent record of that late, great attraction.

Yeah, that would be "Camp Gonnagetcha". I dont know much about that one because my fist time at the haunt was back in 2005, and red moon massacre was still up. I just bet that the camp maze had alot of references to Friday the13th.

New mazes were leaked earlier. They're redoing the Asylum, and adding a few mazes, including "Dia De Los Muertos" and "Terror in London". It'll be cool!

The monsters have pretty much always been lacking in energy on the log ride -- it's just an awkward scaring situation. I'll have a video of Pyromaniax '08 up by October, so you can see if you detect more energy in that one.

Yeah, it was pretty darn long, but perhaps not insane. Don't remember in terms of minutes (sorry for the very late reply). Filmed The Hanging '07 while waiting in line for Black Widow's Cavern, which didn't work out too well. Filmed it properly in '08; that video should be up by October.
