  • QUE GROSA¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • actually it has been said, the song was initially meant to be included on juju but eventually they decided to form the creatures instead. i'm kind of glad about that too because i'm not sure it would have fit with the flow of juju....it had a very rough, lush sense of texture about it whereas this was a bit more sparse and airy.

  • This is actually The Creatures, that's what it was billed as at the time...

  • tribal & primal

  • This drummer is an animal!

  • Yes, he is :) Budgie is the man.

  • This song is on "The Peel Sessions - Voices on the Air" CD...

    And it is absolutely AWESOME....

  • This song was done at Banshees shows in 1981, with just Sioux and Budgie on stage. So essentially it was the first Creatures song, and was performed in the middle of SatB shows.

  • OOPS! I meant to post that comment on the Creatures video "standing there". Sorry for the mis-post.

  • Well they recorded this song in Peel's Studio in

    1982...

  • you are wrong. the creatures started in early 80s.

  • This is exactly when they started The Creatures. They were doing Creatures material during Banshees tours because I saw them do it in the early 80's. As others have said, it would be just the 2 of them on the stage and it was about 1980 - 1981. I cannot remember when the double pack single of this song and others came out but I think it was 1981.I remember being ecstatic when I saw it,I was in high school and joyfully bought it from the record store SOUNDS in the East Village in NYC!

  • The Creatures were born during the Juju recordings. Siouxsie said she and Budgie started imporvising something in a moment they were alone, and the others showed up but they didn't think to join them.

The double 7" Wild Thing came out later in 1981

  • Budgie kicks ass on this

  • I love the lyrics- so descriptive of our most instinctive need for love from the opposite sex...anyone else have any intrepretation of this most primal and mysterious song?

  • "It's about the generation that's getting rid of the old sex roles."siouxsie says so.

  • the amazing drums n steamy vocal.i love the creatures.

  • good times

    and now...2007

  • Old good Sioux! That time she could sing the highs, before she burned her vocal down. She is great although :)

  • Too good too good
