  • Hey What about that big tower for wind gen? Did you get that you could rent a car trailer and get it. put a red flag on the back of it! And take it home.

  • @shartne They sold the turbine and tower a year ago, however I now have most of the ground gear for it (dump load, contactor, breakers, charge controllers, ...)

  • That is a first class zantrax system

  • I bet your as happy as a pig in slop. I know I would be. faarrr out! Looks like a steller system. just super! wow I m really happy for you!

  • @shartne I'm still in the process of figuring out what I have. I did swap out all the MC3 connectors on the panels for the modern MC4s last weekend. I am working on getting grid tie approval with the utility before we start the install.

  • Please post every step of the install. Really curious about the inverters they look like it will be a 220 out put. because there is two inverters. two separate 110 legs.

  • man you gotta love it! wow how sweet is that? you hit the solar junky lotto!

  • iam happy for you .. thats really nice people to do such deed. they are blessed.. lookin forward to your next vids. Always fun to watch. Becareful on the roof..

  • @katz217 Thanks. Means a lot Katz.

  • Wow, that's some real PV power. You are one lucky fellow!

Are these going on your roof or, will you build a ground mounted array?

    Have fun,

    Rich

  • @Xringer Roof. Big project.

  • @Fearlessthinker About 25+ years ago, I installed 3 Novan hotwater panels (4'x8') on my roof. After about 10 years, I could clearly see the roof was sagging. If I could have added some support inside the attic, before installing the panels, it might have helped.

I'm pretty sure that I could cover my whole roof with 41 pound each CS6P-200 (Canadian Solar 200w) panels, and not have much of a sag problem. BUT, if we got snow built-up like last year.. Maybe that could be problematic. :(

  • OK- We are all very happy for you- What a score- But just speaking for myself-i am jealous...LOL Congrats--looking forward to the install clip.. i agree- it was worth the drive- boy I sure miss those trees,

  • What a great find. If you need any advice on the installation please feel free to ask.

    Congradulations buddy!!!!

  • @water4fuelh20 Good question! It likely will be next year at this point! They are backpass type and need a lot of work.

  • @fearlessthinker it is like walking in to heaven when you opened up that storage door. I would drive 10 hours for those.

  • @jmotazedi I think in heaven they have 24V panels. These are 12V. ;-)

  • You make some great videos. Good luck with the install. You must be thrilled! Ed.

  • @MrSciencePHD Thanks Ed. A lot of work ahead, but it will be great.
