  • Aye carumba - not exactly been following these guys, I guess... They never play "Rikki", "Reelin'" or "Dr.Wu"...

My bro and I were at this show and it was probably the best show out of the five I've been to since 1996. Although, at that '96 show in Toronto, they played "Glamour Profession" and I just about busted my nut when I heard "My Old School" live for the first time. Indescribably fantastic.

  • I thought he would come out for his encore with "reelin'"...humm, two of his biggest hits left off his playlist. Looks as though you got your money's worth outta Bluesfest, what a great venue.

  • My wife and I have a cottage near Ottawa, and take our vacation for the bluesfest. Like the new area at war museum a lot better.

  • You do know that there is no one person named Steely Dan. The band is lead by ifs founding members Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. The last tour that featured Reelin' In the Years was in 1994. I think that the song would have fit in well with their 2006 tour with DF & WB's former band-mate Michael McDonald.

  • I thought Steely dan was Max Webster's brother?

  • @newbliss3 Don't forget distant cousin Jethro Tull!

  • Good concert, too bad he didn't play "Ricky".

  • I was hopin for reelin in the years, but still a great concert.
