@WahrerDrache Hung is just another way of saying “Hong”. It's strange to call Hong Quan “Flood Fist”,cuz here in Chinese “Hong”is used as a surname of "Hong Quan" style.
Hi Wahrer, are you thinking about the Northern sets like xiaohongquan or dahongquan? If so, the answer to your question is no. Hong Quan (also called Hung Ga or Hung Gar) is a Southern style of martial arts. Hong is the surname of the "founder" of this style. The character is the same, southern Hong Quan has nothing to do with the northern "flooding" forms.

@ambucias You're lucky as I do having the chance of seeing and enjoying these clips from sifu Altex Tse--
Alex had been in the chinese kungfu Hongkong world since the 60's and he had been performing since late 60 & early 70. You can search round New Hero Magazine for his articles.
我相信周永德師博係一個都好勁既師博.但係睇你咁打拳,d馬又高,個人又肥,打得又慢.唔知係咪專登咁慢.有一下個馬直頭係企係到的!
