Drive around Orange County, California, there are billboards, posters, bus stop and bench signs with Pro-Christian messages and Hannity isn't complaining about that. As for the concept itself, think of it this way. Evolution is slow...like taking one step at a time. Given enough time, and taking enough steps...you can not only walk across the room you're in...but even across town or across a continent.

For obvious reasons, it is impossible to actively observe a process that takes thousands of times longer than a human lifespan. What is observed however are remains of now extinct creatures, morphological similarities between living creatures, which can be classified into a nested hierarchy and DNA correlations. These evidences are as convincing for evolution as a set of footprints are for someone having walked by earlier. You may not have observed the person waking by, but the evidence remains.
