  • that's cornering!!!! amazing, I didnt know he falco can lean that much (I guess you fitted an RSV swingarm and ohlins shock). great video, I cant wait to take the falco on track!

  • got my falc 2001 2 weeks ago...and in another 3 weeks i'll be allowed to ride her :)

  • also, from the af1 forums saw that your bike went down. What's its story now?

  • It's in 1000 pieces, but I should start reassembly after I finish cleaning up the intakes. Missing out on an entire summer of riding though :(

  • I've dropped my triple 6 lines on forks, enough to swap the clipons up on top. The extra bar height makes my 6 foot body position so much better overall and the bikes turn in is very neutral as well. I raised the rear to again steepen the rake which also raised the pegs back up from the loss due to triple drop. I still do not see a need for a steering damper so the rake/trail hasn't gone too far. So far so good.

  • I don't know how I didn't see this before, anyway, So the stock cables were long enough? I definitely need to do something about the low clipons as I want to start riding some longer distances. I still have the stock shock. I'll be trying the clipon swap soon.

  • Yep ,stock cables just barely reach in the factory positions. the brake servoir though had the be rotated out of the way. Get a new shock for sure, stock rear blows big time! Factory Mille Ohlins works great and usualy costs much less.

  • Great to see the falco leaned that far over! Good sound quality.

  • The Falco is a great bike. That was about as far over as it goes before scraping the stock pegs. Raised rear sets opens up more available lean. Perhaps not the best at any one thing, but it seems to do everything exceptionally well. It's as reliable as a honda with the maintenance schedule of a yamaha.

  • I've got a long way to go before I will be able to do that. I haven't done any track days on the falco yet but I'll try this summer. I did one on my cbr and it was one of the best days ever.

  • did you slide the fork tubes up at all? How many lines do you have showing above the top clamp?
