Really like it. It reminds me of some Damian Rice songs. In my opinion some gentle (synth) chellos or violins would emphasise certain sections nicely or a simple acoustic solo.
@xXShaunChristopherXx yeah, unfortunately, i dont have the recording software that i used to have, and now i just have my iphone to record songs, so i cant have multi tracks or edit the sounds, so im trying to get that sorted out. In the meantime, im just recording acoustic/raw versions. I recorded this right after i wrote it, so its the most basic version, but ya i agree with you, it def needs a little extra. i already have the chords and drum part thought out. @theoceanization In that case for something recorded on a phone it sounds great. One idea you could try is recording the guitar and vocals seperately on different files in your phone and importing them into something like audacity, which is free. If you used headphones so you can keep in sync you'd be able to lay them on top of each other, adjust volumes and add chorus etc.
@wooddragon45 thanks for the feedback. Yeah, unfortunately, i cant use garageband anymore since my brother left with his computer, so all i have right now to record with is my iphone. I cant edit my tracks and its not a multi track recorder so i cant add extra parts. Im trying to figure something out so i can at least make the vocals louder and i do want to add other parts, cause like you said, it is a bit boring. Just thought id put the raw version out there for ppl to give me feedback on.
@onelastbreath7777777 Thanks. I really appreciate your positive feedback. It keeps fueling me to write new stuff. Ive been trying to get back to writing songs again. This was the first song ive finished in a while, but hopefully ill keep making some more.
