The RS4 has a whining sound to it, but it's not a supercharger, just a 4.2 V8. I have people ask me if mine is supercharged fairly often because of that sound.

is that whine a supercharger?...i dont remember the rs4 being supercharged but i could be wrong, my 87 Audi 4000s has a straight five in it, no turbo no supercharger but when i rev it...which i tend to do alot...it has a distinctive whine that can be heard quite well from inside the car. its not bad but im just trying to think of what it is

I do not understand what the problem is with this car being a rental car or not.

The car is very cool and I never said that the car was mine. Go and rent this thing and have fun!!! But you probably cannot afford to fill this baby up with fuel, so you nag on people who can.

I have posted videos of Ferrari's, Porsches etc etc and they are also not mine. But nobody nags about that.

It is about the cars, the sounds and the movies! Enjoy it or stay away.

thats not true, only if oil temperature is not high enough - and to bigvoglin's comment: you can easily open the valves in the exhaust by pressing the "S" button on the steering wheel - no matter if the car moves or not.
