@melancholyid That is because labor is cheaper. If we had free trade and the government didn't create monopolies then other countries would be more free to outsource here. We have nothing to lose by opening up free trade. The decrease in labor costs makes the prices cheaper. Everything you buy would be more expensive. Also, a lot of outsourced labor has actually created more jobs here. Tons of companies save money and hire more people here in higher paying jobs that require skill.
That's the problem. Free trade wouldn't fix it, because no matter what, it is ALWAYS going to be cheaper to send it over to Pakistan where what a person over here was making $7.18 an hour to do, over there to be done at 11 cents an hour.
And labor costs? Do you even work? People deserve to be paid for their efforts. People who maintain and build roads, textiles, produce electricity, miners, whatever deserve to be compensated for their dangerous, laborious work.
Why not? When you send money out of the country without a reciprocal amount coming in, you are aiding the deficit. When everything was made and produced in this country, we were able to prosper. We were able to continuously raise minimum wage above the cost of living.

In a mere 30 years China has gone from over 80% of people living at under $1.25 per day to almost 10% in 2005 dollars. All of which is due to deregulation of agriculture and a massive boom in small business. You world view is rapidly becoming moot and people like you are being shoved aside in lieu of actual intellectuals.
Jobs that maintain the infrastructure are not only in demand, but are absolutely necessary. Removing our dependence on foreign oil, maintaining roads and bridges, water and wastewater lines, power generation, adequate education, these are things that we need to start pouring into that will, in the long run, make us far more competitive.
The absolute worst thing you can do is hemorrhage more money overseas when we need that money here, stimulating our economy, in our pockets.

@melancholyid That is because labor is cheaper. If we had free trade and the government didn't create monopolies then other countries would be more free to outsource here. We have nothing to lose by opening up free trade. The decrease in labor costs makes the prices cheaper. Everything you buy would be more expensive. Also, a lot of outsourced labor has actually created more jobs here. Tons of companies save money and hire more people here in higher paying jobs that require skill.

That's the problem. Free trade wouldn't fix it, because no matter what, it is ALWAYS going to be cheaper to send it over to Pakistan where what a person over here was making $7.18 an hour to do, over there to be done at 11 cents an hour.
And labor costs? Do you even work? People deserve to be paid for their efforts. People who maintain and build roads, textiles, produce electricity, miners, whatever deserve to be compensated for their dangerous, laborious work.

Wake up, companies are already moving overseas? Why? Because the huge hemorrhage by by outsourcing has made American's weak spenders. They have less money overall, so the companies moved out of the country to keep lining their pockets.
An example: A GM plant in Kalamazoo shut down, putting 3500 out of work, so they could build the plant in Mexico. The workers in Mexico cost $5 an hour less than in America. The cost of their automobiles dropped not a dime.

If you did like I did, and not only did your SMART transcripts to transfer military credits but managed to get some college credits done during deployments, EACH of your degrees require at least associates in more or less unrelated fields.

In a mere 30 years China has gone from over 80% of people living at under $1.25 per day to almost 10% in 2005 dollars. All of which is due to deregulation of agriculture and a massive boom in small business. Jobs that maintain the infrastructure are not only in demand, but are absolutely necessary. Removing our dependence on foreign oil, maintaining roads and bridges, water and wastewater lines, power generation, adequate education, these are things that we need to start pouring into that will, in the long run, make us far more competitive.
The absolute worst thing you can do is hemorrhage more money overseas when we need that money here, stimulating our economy, in our pockets.

And then there are the companies that create the supplies that are needed to build the roads, they are able to work and employ people. Or show me where from any source other then your ill-educated mouth that I was wrong on social democracies. You critsize me for that definition fragment but thats all you got and eve if I was wrong on it doesnt mean I am wrong on political terms. Fragmenting a definition does not prove whatsoever anything and also that thing I posted you was not a definition but taken from a website

@Fuctmentality that was merely describing nationalization. And also may I add with definitions when there is numbers that does not mean that all relates to the term in its full context. Each number is the variation of the term such as the defintion nationlization the first definition states to bring under the ownership or control of a nation, as industries and land: a movement to nationalize the oil industry whereas the second states to make into a nation the two defintions does not cont'd

Clearly you do not know how definitions work since you think the numbered defintions alone are fragments when they are not. They are definitions on their own but different context of definitions. Also I stated a million times that I did not mean to place defintion just like you did not mean to misspell "obviously". If I were to play your game I would be all over you for that

(& Nazism isn't a term for a person). So unless you can find a complete definition that states regulation is socialism, or the term nationalized means regulated you fail. & Again knowing these definitions doesn't make me ignorant.& Repeating yourself & posting definitions that you don't understand doesn't change that.

@Fuctmentality you obviosly have no knowage on gun laws civilians cant own fully auto guns. we can own semi auto rifles, shotguns, and handguns no automatics i would get a 12 guage shotgun with slug rounds. or a semi automatic ak-47 as my home defence.

@WilliamBroichYAY Actually you cn get an automatic but you need to apply for a class 3 license. I would recommend a pistol for home defense as it's easier to move around comers. If you insist on a rifle get a something Bullpup with a short barrel. Might I suggest a steyr?
& My point was that since very few Democrats are for any further gun control, voting for republicans because of gun control makes no sense, unless you want to reduce the current restrictions.
