There is a Fruupp CD from Sequel records entitled "Songs for a thought" NEX CD203. Many Favourites on that - I have burnt my 4 Fruupp albums using my USB turntable and converted to mp3.
Well Esoteric are going to reissue all of the Fruupp albums next tuesday with some awesome bonus tracks. So I suggest you get ready to buy them all over again!
anyone reading this from the band - i'm on my knees pleading with you guys to reform. the best 4 albums ever!!! by the best band ever - bar freaking no one!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK... I'll have to listen to this a dozen times before I can say anything intelligible about it. I'm telling you "Whoaa!!! This is making me stop and think!!"
pure class. got the double CD in virgin megastore last year sadly not all the tracks were included but hey if you had all their tracks wouldn't that be the Perfect Wish! Any one out there gor a version of Steam Machine?
Couldn't believe my eyes seeing Fruupp stuff on here, so rare!!! Could never understand why they never got where they deserved to be. Still have all their vinyls but no record player.... Help !!!! Alan from Essex UK
A fantastic tune, just a small insight into what Fruupp had to offer. Make sure to check out their 4 fantastic albums. Also, check out the new video on YouTube featuring Fruupp drummer Martin Foye
Always loved them and always will. I saw them supporting the Troggs at East London University in Mile End in 1973 and went out and ordered their album the next day.
Lost my Prince Of Heaven's Eye booklet eventually and wish I hadn't :(
Seen it very cute and funny

See for Miles Records released CDs of all four, but I'm sure they were edits - a track or two missing.

I love Fruupp. Saw them twice in Liverpool. In 74 with Houston touring Prince which I taped and also 75 with Houston - not as good IMHO

These strings sound very ELO-ish and that is NOT an insult, as I really like ELO.

Have all their albums and still consider them being just as great as early Genesis.

Thanx pb for bringing Irelands' greatest hidden gem to the masses. Saw them 10+ times in the 70's. Still my outright fav band.
Lets hope your posting is just the start and some of the rumoured live recordings finally surface.

Finally someone who knows class! Saw Fruupp live in November '74 at the Civic Hall, Gravesend, Kent, England. The most underrated band ever. FSBTony.
