I think the back up band actually sounds more ''accurate''. Personally....i think Kim's playing is slop. Of course...he's an original member blah blah.....but accuracy is more pleasing to the ear (to me). Especially the new vids ive seen of soundgarden. The songs are rushed...slopped up.....id rather hear Chris with there guys.
Just a question since matt cameron is in pearl jam now and SG is back together who will be their drummer ? because pearl jam tours like crazy i doubt matt will be able to be on both

It is not just a minorscale blues rock solo at all, as quathar says..do you even know how to play a minor scale? In fact the very distinctive off-note he uses, the same Thayil does, is the major-third!

I like his touring band. Saw them last year and they fucking rocked. Great concert. The difference I notice when I listen to videos on youtube is the guitar sound is different. Soundgarden's guitars seems louder, and possibly more distortion with more high end.

I'm glad it's not an exact replica, the band obviously consists of different artists, so let them individual take on the song. The stuff people are posting from his performance in Argentina is sickening- for those of us who didn't attend.
