  • it took me a while to realize it was a joke XDDD

  • Funny :)

  • I thought it was great! I've only been natural a couple of months and I have a lot to learn!

  • Not 100% true

  • lol!

  • That song in the back is the truth lls

  • 10... reasons to go natural: 1. I love spending hours on my hair 2. I love that anxiety of "will my twistout look like a hot mess" 3. I dont think people behind me at the movies need to see 4. I just love cutting my hair off thanks to heat damage 5. Nah thats not a twist out i got 4a i swear 6. I like havin 14 inches of earlength hair 7. I like that scrunchy face my man makes when i kizzy my hair up at night 8. I didnt need that promotion 9. I could be utube famous 10. white people luv it
  • 1. I enjoy breakage and necklength hair

    2. I love chemical burns

    3. I enjoy being a product junkie even without natural hair

    4. I love running my fingers through my... and taking out a handfull

    5. I love spending 30-200 dollars at the salon

    6. I hate rain, swimming, and washing my hair in general

    7. I wana get fat. I aint sweating out my perm at the gym

    8. I'd rather walk around in a busted ass weave

    9. I dont need to learn to care for my hair or my daughters

    10. Naw girl i'm part cherokee

  • @Offended83Shadow number 10 is soooo funny lol.

  • Lol silly

  • Very well done! I truly enjoyed watching this. Especially the number one reason with you and your cute puppy.

  • You forgot because you despise frizzy hair lol.

  • @91WriterzStatus Good one :)

  • I loved the video. I've only been natural for a year and four moths. This is my third try and so I've been on youtube watching videos every chance I get. This helped to keep me motivated. Thanks girl.

  • i liked the vid i live in a small town where black females don't do natural hair, so when they see me they are like what's up with your hair. I don't really care coz I did this for me not them. Besides my ex hair dresser was my hair and told my sister the last time she saw me i had a afro, don't care. I enjoy my curls and the fact that it's different than most of the town. I have only met 3 other women in my town that are natural, and I live in a town of about 55,000 people, and in the south.

  • @sugardrop47 Hang in there Girl! Like you said you did this for YOU and NOT them!

  • It took me way to long to realize this video was being facetious. Lol I am slow! XD

  • 1:07 Makes me CRINGE! lol

  • Love the video. Very funny. I love being natural.

  • I only realised after the video was over that you were actually rooting for natural hair, really like this video, personally I think being natural is the best.

  • Well in a way think about what those girls went through to get their hair that way. Mother makes them sit down and attacks hair with itty bitty comb then uses a burning metal comb that was heated by fire on the stove and then touches scalp with it and then pulls super tight to braid

  • The comments!! OMG ! Fried, dyed & laid to the side/comprehension baked....lmao!! Just another reason to NOT go "NaTuRaL !! lol

  • The Reasons Dont Really Make Sence To Me ...

  • You guys are so silly. I know a hella lot of people who are natural and have health problems.Relaxed or not if your butt was destined to get sick you are. There aint nothing we can do about sicknesses and hair definitely is not gonna impact it. So the next time you wanna comment please state facts and not let your self centered ignorance shine.

  • <3 IT!

  • i didn't realize this was a satire until reason 6 lol

  • thats not all the way true just because you are natural doesnt mean you dont have a chance at having help problems..being relaxed and natural are choices ppl choose to make not because they dont like they natural hair or relaxed hair they choose by lifestyle some people just dont have the time to go natural and have healthy natural hair like myself im relaxed but im a fan of relaxed and natural but everything is not for everybody

  • That creamy crack chemical absorbs into you're skin and can cause future health problems we don't even think about such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and glacoma. Live a natural lifestyle and you won't develop these health problems.

  • @marysua66 haha you wont... really??? now thats ignorant, dont use microwave either your hair absorbs radiation n causes cancer, microwave free means cancer free :/

  • Omg it is a light hearted video, don't be so serious. I can't wait to be 100% naturale!!!

  • Love this video!!! I'm going to stay natural I will never go back to the creamy crack!

  • I dont agree with the video. When you go natural yoou must learn how to take care of your hair, and spend time. I guess if your lazy, or have no real intres in natural haircare, have someone else do it. Getting relaxers and putting chemicals is not healthy, niether is having natural hair that you dont want to take care of. Make a logical decision.

  • I cant believe that people didnt "get it".......good video!

  • OMG!! You scared me! I wasn't sure if you were for real or not, LOL. Cool vid. I don't perm my hair anymore but I don't knock those whose do. To me it's pointless to argue (especially on Youtube) about natural vs. perm. Whatever make you feel the most beautiful, then do it. It is a lot of work caring for natural hair and not every female has the patience for it, I sure thought I didn't but I got a daily routine going that I'm pretty comfortable with now. So everyone just stay beautiful! Simple.

  • I was dancing in my seat to the background music. lol

  • Good stuff lol

  • #7 um...perms BURN!!!

  • So funny. I was expecting something different. I like how you put all the good reasons to be natural

  • Those are some very good reasons.. But sadly.. I am still going natural lol lmao

  • I must be alittle bit slow because I'm confused...I don't get it.

  • @28Irishhugs it was a "joke" she was trying to say naturals have many pros to it but tried to portray it as if they were bad reasons... lol

  • wonderful video I'm going to share the link in my hair blog at sunflowernbklyn.wordpress I hope you don't mind.

  • @sunflowernbklyn I don't mind at all and Thank you :)

  • Im all natural and loving it lol so i dont want to burn my hair with chemicals sry wow this is so stupid and dumb girls are growing up thinking having chemicaly straightened fried hair is cute but really it isnt being natural is the best thing for a kid teen or an adult so watevs bye

  • This is such a great video. I wish i could go natural but where i live i cant find any products for natural hair. Not even a conditioner. I looked evrywhere. All of them have alcohol in em.

  • @black1992orly Many products that have alcohol listed are not the drying kind, some alcohols are used as emulsifiers. Give beauty supply and grocery store products a chance many are effective. Dont forget you can mix up your own too. :)

  • Baltimore:)

  • Lol I thought this was a real vid on reasons not to go natural. Cuz i'm really considering it

  • This is too cute, luv the mix!

  • ok I'm from Baltimore and I hear DJ Rod Lee in the background right ? lol lol cute vid

  • @InHinesSight You're right.

  • lol yes i love natural hair. especially wit mini twist. nice vid

  • I was confused at first but now i get it too funny!

  • LOL!!!!!!

    I LOVE IT!

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Sarcasim! Gotcha!

  • i don't get it O_o

  • i like the concept, but the reasons were dumb. Was this a joke?

  • @luvfunnyflix Yes.

  • @luvfunnyflix yes it was stupid why did i click on it?

  • Perm is creamy crack :))

  • @Spizz813 & when you die, & they perform an autopsy on you & find mold growing under your scalp caused by a lifetime of perms- you're gonna feel pretty awesome as well!

  • I'm relaxed and I have plenty of products that smell good, I know how to take care of my hair so it's healthy(or as "healthy" as something that's dead can be), I like to look at pictures of myself (not in a narcissist way), I oil my scalp correctly and go to a professional when I get a relaxer so I don't feel any pain on my scalp when I get it done nor do I get scabs, my hair is plenty versatile as is and you know what else is awesome? If I'm wearing my hair straight for an event and it rains o

  • This song is....very catchy...

  • ROTFL!!!!! # 7 YOU LIKE THE WAY PERMS FEEL ON YOUR SCALP!!!!!!!! My best friend and I are over here dyin!!!!!!!! You're too funny!

  • I love my natural hair like every natural woman does. now that's real honesty about.natural curly hair peace.

  • looool

  • Girl I'm natural and that was too funny!!!!

  • this was funny and awkward lmao

  • Love the vid!!will be sharing!God bless!!

  • us grown from the earth.these man made products are toxic.shampoos,conditioners,relaxers,colors,texturizers,etc. are absorbed into the bloodstream causing the organs and hormones to become imbalanced andovertaxed.i learn a lot studying to become a doc and nutritionist.i will never prescribe or recommend my patients to take any prescription or nonprescription drugs.they are the #1 reason ppl develop diseases.doctors all around the world believe if you can't eat it,why put it on your skin??

  • this video is amazing! i love it.it was very funny and smart.i have friends with relaxed hair and i don't judge them or think im better than them in any way. you were just stating your opinion and some facts on the differences of being natural as opposed to being relaxed.it is the best decision i ever made.i use very very little products and my hair grows super fast!i look at from what the bibly says.our hair is our pride and joy.in my opinion we should take care of it with the things God gave

  • im natural and i love it..its curly and God given...oh and im not a product junky

  • lol! this is hilarious. what's the track in the background?.. me likes

  • @drkkandy Seasame Street- Baltimore Club Music

  • Omg, I'm sorry thumbed this down by mistake- this brilliant!

    I thumbed it up immediately!

  • @getogatocat No problem

  • @getogatocat Lol i did the same thing! but i corrected myself

  • Love this video!!!

  • @AlohaLisia its a joke lol

  • @kdmz08 Ditto!!

  • @kdmz08 I agree with everything you have said and I also went relaxed then natural back to relaxed...and it soley comes down to individuality

  • i've been natural and relaxed. dont understand why black women get so serious and like its betrayal when someone gets a relaxer. if all it takes is me going natural for another black female to feel unified with me then we have an issue. like @TJazzey said, we still segregate ourselfs because then we fight over what kind of curl pattern we have. Wes hould be unified regardless of what im wearing or how i choose to wear my hair

  • I don't believe no one has anything negative to say about those who choose to go natural, I think it is beautiful. I myself choose to relax my hair and happy about it. I don't understand the big battle between natural or relax.

  • Natural hair is beautiful, and very versatile. dealing with your natural is beneficial. NO ONE KNOWS YOUR HAIR BETTER THAN YOU DO.

  • honestly this video was too funny!!!! Love it. Im trying to decide whether to go natural or not i am transitioning now but I'm not totally on board with the all natural hair though I think it's beautiful! Thanks for the insight on sis God Bless!

  • Funny funny video.I love being natural but it does have drawbacks. But it worth the sacrifice. Especially with having a little more money in the pocket. lol

  • I have permed hair but my is healthy sooooooo i kinda don't agree with #8 :-)

  • I LOVE the sarcasm!

  • Hilarious!!!!!! Rotfl!!!! Af first I thought this was gonna be a negative vid but its not. Loved it. Agree with everything you said. Perms were eating my scalp and the last 1 was 10.09. Neva going back. No more burns eva. Love my hair and the way it feels. Get lots of compliments and people wanting to try my yt hairstyles. So again, GOOD JOB. Haters gonna hate no matter what you put up so post away.

  • hair is just hair , nothing more , nothing less ! whatever one chooses to do with is is their choice . Some people go through phases and change their hair styles just like seasons . its just hair , not ur personal identity !

  • @Ch0c0lat3313B3aUtY

you're right some ppl do go thru phases with their hair, almost every week...but to a lot of women, their hair is part of their identity. some women are known for frequently changing up the style, long perm hair, long natural hair. and being able to do whatever you want, when you want, to it makes it you own identity. its NOT all a person is, but it can definitely be a huge part of them.

  • i soo get what u are saying this is a cute video fun and awesome but im still going to burn the heck out of my scalp with that over priced perm lol lol loved it let me know when u want me to sing a bck ground track for ur next clip :D

  • haha u should do one thats top ten reasons to go natural and give the other point of view...that would be very interesting HAHA

  • haha u should do one thats top ten reasons to go natural and give the other point of view...that would be very interesting HAHA

  • funny video & the message is on point at the end of the day, everybody has to deal with its own hair

    it's just hair after all

  • im checkin to make sure my booty is still attached bcuz i am lmbo!! i love this vid n im natural!! i bc'd again recently n i love it, my motto is "2 EACH THEIR OWN" GR8 VIDEO BTW

  • You must be from Chicago, your video is jukin' . Very cute, thank you!

  • This is a very cute video! Love the music! You have a great sense of humor! Been natural 3-1/2 months and counting! Rock on my sister!

  • I think your video was very witty! I liked it!! :o)

  • This was a really good video. I must agree if you are offended then there are deeper issues that need to bed addressed.

  • I have a sense of humor, therefore I like this video.

  • I been transitioning 6mo now, the only benefit i had with a relaxer was the fact that it was more manageable and im tender headed already so i didn't touch it much. However it was growing in length but was too thin for my taste. I just felt that i had to get a relaxer. I know better now, i was willing to make a drastic change. relaxed/natural is obviously everyone's personal opinion. For me my hair is happy and thriving with no harsh chemicals so that's what matters the most for me. Your choice

  • I loved this! I am a new natural! Never felt better about my hair or myself! I think that if you found the video offensive, then you need to deal with your own personal issues with your own hair and your own choices! Loved this!

  • People need to lighten up. This was kind of funny. I have become a product junkie looking for the "right" product almost daily.

  • LOL..I actually think this is kinda funny..what's with all the negative comments..ya'll so sensitive..lol..

  • I'm sorry I know one thing I hate the way a perm feels on my head omg feels like my head is numb or melting :(

  • Lol at the song, though.

  • And just because u were it a certain way doesnt mean u dont like to touch yout own hair or other non factual things that this video says. its just hair. period

  • i think ppl dont like this video because it was made in sarcasm. there's no real substance to this video. it does have a negative conotation about it. Im relaxed and i never plan to go natural. for what ever reason all of ppl that where their hair natural feel like they are "better" than those who choose to relax. as though women who relax are "sell outs" or what ever. what ppl fail to realize is, its just hair!

  • q algumas pessoas ignorantes. eu q sou brasileira, consegui entender a brincadeira do vídeo!

  • Comment removed

  • What is this video saying?

  • Laughs at all the ppl who thought this was going to be another negative video about hair! Great video

  • Girl I was about to FLIP out! But then I realized you were being funny. Even the annoying music was cute. :-D Two afro picks up!!!

  • Cute video!!

  • The title of this video is so misleading. I thought you were giving real reasons not to go natural when I clicked on it.

  • @mattiechi Oh my gosh me too!

  • @mattiechi not to be rude, but you shouldnt need someone to give you reasons not to go natural or whatever...its YOUR hair after all..do what you desire....its a bit sad that you seem (i say seem because thats what i get from ur comment..and dont really know what you felt whilst posting this) dissapointed that they were not real reasons not to wear ur hair a certain way :(

  • @mizbel101 I'm not offended. I just wanted to know reasons anyone could have for not going natural. I have no opinion either way. I'm natural, but that's just me. Not everyone can deal with being natural.

  • #7 was HILARIOUS!!

  • LOL.....this was cute :)

  • lol

  • Love the video...let the haters hate and you go on doin' you.

  • I thought this video was cute! I went natural because relaxer was causing my hair to fall out, or it would grow to about my shoulders and break off..the hair at the crown of my hair would never grow past an inch and a half. I don't see what all the fuss is about if you relax than you relax if you are natural then you are natural.

  • what song is playing?

  • I love the video. And I love that Wizard of Oz reference. It's unfortunate that some people don't understand your humor. I get it and I love it.

  • Oh no not the dog too!!

  • Funny stuff!

  • OMG, Some of you folks need to get a life.

  • What on earth happened to us as a people.....we let a product produced in a factory made by man, come between our people....how much more stupid are we going to allow ourselves to get....seriously now.....SERIOUSLY? At the end of the day hair, is hair....even though it is clear that being natural is indeed the best and healthiest way to treat our hair....people have a choice...so let them choose...sure it might not be the wisest decision...but it's just HAIR after all...it grows back.

  • Question....if there was no such thing as a relaxer, would there be so much controversy amongst black women and their hair?....No i do not thinks so....we would HAVE NO CHOICE but to keep what naturally grows out of our own head. Our sons, fathers, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, and male friend would HAVE NO CHOICE but to ACCEPT what we NATURALLY LOOK LIKE, therefore....there would be ACCEPTANCE of "Natural Hair"...BUT since there IS a choice "The Relaxer & others" We have become divided. SMH.

  • I keep coming back to this video because it is so funny (a play on words) and also cause the music is awesome...i keep bopping my head in front of the computer as I watch this video....lol

  • I am in no way a "hater" of anyone's hair, I love all types natural or relaxed. I myself am relaxed, but this video did criticize black women who do relax and honestly most if not all of those things said were incorrect, you can use the same products on natural hair that you do on relaxed hair and my hair always smells nice. I just feel like it is rude to single out those who relax because we do not single out those who choose not to. It is all a matter of personal choice. Video title is deceivin

  • @honeybeemelissa2012 lol did i miss the part where she criticized anyone? apparently i did because i did not get that at all from this vid

  • @emcfadden1010 the criticism was implied through the sarcasm

  • That song was hype

  • in my opinion, this video was cute. i dont understand why people get offended over the dumbest things. i used to get relaxers and now im going natural and your video didnt offend me the slightest little bit...i guess you cant make everyone happy i suppose :/

  • (CONT) Its plain ridiculous! We can no longer blame our seperation on anyone else but ourselves. Yet we seem to be content with it.

  • Id like to understand why this video was something people were so offended by and then felt the need to place negative comments here. If you don't like the video you do not have to watch it. To the person that said it sounds racist, mama it is racist. We are the only group of people that does this to ourselves. Its sad and its beyond time for us to quit it. If you relax your hair fine, just understand what your exposing yourself. Also the phrase "good hair" needs to be buried.

  • wow lol

  • lol satire?

  • nice and thats a choice for u. my choice is to perm bcuz i like my hair that way. i dont use weaves bcuz my hair is long. i spend $7 on my relaxer(PCJ) and it doesnt burn :D im so happy!

  • I love the video because it's realistic. I too am in transition to go natural. I also see negative commentary on here about this video being prejudice? In what way is it being prejudice? Wow, since when is the "TRUTH/LIGHT" prejudice? I can honestly say I once was blinded by the relaxers and now I have found sight of the truth! Those who are still offended apparently do not have any knowledge of the harm relaxers and other chemicals cause, to the hair. I am going back to my original roots.

  • @naturallyblackful GO YOU!! It's so true. Relaxers cause so much harm, it's not even funny. I thought this video was just funny and true all in the same context. I recently went natural and i feel sooo free. A lot of people think if you don't relax your hair it won't grow, but whether you're black, white, hispanic, or asian, hair is hair... it's made to grow... lol.

  • @xNaturalNikki its a joke lol

  • Update: I continue to be baffled by the negative responses to this video. I don't say anything negative about relaxer/perm other than it irritates the scalp. I don't show relaxer/perm "holocaust" pictures or admonish those that use them. I was (and am) happy to be natural and wanted to find a fun tongue-in-cheek was to express it. Feel free to relax your hair, you are a grown woman, make videos on your channel celebrating it. I don't judge. Enjoy your life and your hair

  • @monicajoi Well said. Relaxer in my eyes is one of the worst things ever invented for us. It strips your hair and scalp of all it's nutrients, because of course did you know that it is at the top end of the Alkali scale!!! It's worst than household bleach!! Guys get thinking?? Natural is the way to go!!!

  • I get it....thanks for the video...power to the natural hair people : )

  • She was joking right??

  • love the afro puffs :)

  • This lady is obviously being sarcastic..

  • lol i take it this video was made as a joke

  • is this a joke? im going natural and im lovinit. im black and im proud of my black hair. being natural is simply beautiful. i honestly believe this video is a joke. sorry.

  • ok......

  • the reason whyy iwont go natural is because my hair is soooooo super thick and hard to manage without a perm . i make it a point to perm my roots twice a year and my hair is very healthy . i hate when ppl try to act like perming hair is like a sin or something . & its all about preference , the ppl who are natural dont want anything saying rude things to them about being natural so whyy do they have the audacity to down talk ppl who perm their hair ? it doesnt make sense to me .

  • @TheCoutb the perm doesn't cause a lot of breakage for you? that's why i wanna leave them alone!

  • @Lozie82 no it doesnt ; ihave never had breakage problems ; i keep my ends trimmed so they dnt split up my hair shaft ( which doesnt come from perms , it happens to everyone ) and ideep condition my hair every 2 weeks . like isaid , my hair is very healthy and its manageable . the perm doesnt break off hair ; its the ppl . if they dnt take care of their hair then of course their is gonna break off . thts with or without perm btw .

  • @TheCoutb did you know that the chemicals you put into your hair penetrate into your scalp?? i mean seriously if something had the strength to completely take away the curl pattern in your hair then there is obviously something wrong with that product..besides that a perm know matter what brand can easily burn though an aluminium can..did you know that? the same way a pepsi can burn through a hotdog.i mean seriously if its not dangerous why does it burn, thin hair, and smell horrific.

  • @Aleemahcharlie yes idid know some of those things , and i am not saying tht yu are wrong . all im saying is tht me using perms doesnt do anything damaging to my hair . its VERY healthy , thick , and everything else . i dont have bad memories or anything associated with perms. to each their own , im guessing yur natural which works for yu . being natural doesnt work for me and ican send yu pictures of my hair which is shiny , smooth , healthy with no split ends and its at a good length .

  • @TheCoutb yea its def a persons choice 2 go natural and im SOOO happy your hair looks good permed but fact is ur probly 1 n a million.lol most ppl have no idea y they put perms n their heads.especially since our hair is really the most BEAUTIFUL.i jus want ppl 2 love every part of themselves w/o chemically altering it.if u relax fine but jus no that ur natural hair is probly wayyy prettier.and it will def be thicker.n i'd hate 2 offend u n n e way.us aa have 2 stick 2gthr PERIOD!!btw i jus BC

  • @Aleemahcharlie isooo understand but ijuss cant take the thickness omg , it used to be natural until ihad to start doing it my self and iwas like oh nooooo lol . but yes we should ! all hair textures are beautiful , long , short , natural , permed lol !

  • rotfl. Seriously though, natural and permed women spend tons of money. It's the ones who do their own hair who are smart....like me. lol

  • LMAO :D

  • @weichce @zmoreno71 she was being SARCASTIC!!!! get a clue lol this is basically a video why you SHOULD go natural so before you go commenting disagreeable things on someones video actually watch it!

  • i totally agree with the natural ladies, there is nothing wrong with going natural if anything it is the right way to go from the beginning. God created us with that kind of hair and it is the hair we should wear proudly without caring for the society. in addition women with natural hair do spend less money because they learn how to treat their own hair and it turns out that natural hair is not as difficult to manage as ppl think.

  • wow the top comments couldnt take a joke/sarcasm. Sensitive, much? Live. Laugh. Love.

  • OMG I LOVE THE SARACASM!!! good job :D

  • I am natural but I don't feel the need to tell other grown women how to wear their hair or down them because they choose to wear a perm. Get over yourselves the only ppl who find this funny or 'lighthearted" are people with natural hair

  • Y r u ppl always getting so political n hyped up!? Judging by some comments ppl take to offence quickly bcos u r not focused or resolute within yourself to overide a joke or in some cases ignorance. its called moving on not everything has to b an argument!

  • I understand that this was made out of fun, however it's still prejudice to women who have relaxers and it's not funny at all. Regardless of how you wear your hair, we're all black, all beautiful, and all still facing the same judgement and challenges of black people. Relaxers aren't used to enhance beauty and if you feel so then obviously you feel that the women with relaxers look better...let's all grow up and try to be sister to each other rather than making fun of others over their hair.

  • @cheyennearielx3 women wear perms so called relaxers out of self hate taught to us. time to let it go and be into our NATURAL, NATURE giving looks and mind to nuture ourselves to health.

  • Where did she say relaxers are enhancements?

  • HONESTLY, AND I HOPE I DON'T OFFEND ANYONE....BUT COME ON LADIES...WE SOUND RACIST..WE ARE CATEGORIZING EACH OTHER ACCORDING TO HAIR TEXTURE. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE NATURAL LOOK & I'M IN THE PROCESS OF TRANSITIONING, BUT I DON'T THINK ANYONE SHOULD BE CALLED A PERMIE OR A NATURAL OR WHATEVER.....PUTTING EACH OTHER IN A CATEGORY IS JUST CAUSING MORE SEPERATION....WE ARE STILL AFRO-AMERICAN SISTERS, JUST WITH THE CHOSE OF HAVING A DIFFERENT WAY OF WEARING OUR HAIR...

  • @TJazzey actually, the first reason black people are perming or relaxing their hair was because their hair was different to white people hair. I thought this video was just funny. She used Satire. A lot of people with relaxed hair give my friend crap about going natural and i always tell her to keep on trucking. If more black women went natural, they'd see that their hair is just as beautiful as they are. The word nappy is the real reason black people are afraid to let their true self shine. Sad

  • @TJazzey it is just fine to classif a chick as a PERMIE or a NATURAL. Shit if she rocks perms she a damn PERMIE. Its not a bad thing its just classifying how she wears her hair, not her as a person....wtf y ppl so touchy

  • What I LOVE? IF it rains after i leave the house, i dont mind getting a little wet .When I go on vacation, water, the beach& chlorine r not an issue, i can wash n go.I can go temp straight anytime I wish.I can FINALLY go 2 the gym whenever i want.I save ALOT of $! Perms were ok but what I DONT miss? The chem burns,$70 hair appointments every 3 months, itchy scalp, shedding, almost ZERO gym time just 2 preserve my hairstyle..Kudos 2 anyone who loves their creamy crack...Its all abt choice!

  • i dont know what it is but yes, white girls can dye, perm and flat iron their hair til it falls out...but 4 some reason the fact that their hair isnt as dramtically changed as when blacks do it...it feels more evasive & false...like WE r trying 2 mimick an unnatural state of hair. And from that we get "u trying 2 be white".Honestly Im more bothered by weaves! I say perm YOUR hair if u must have straight hair &take off that ridiculous circus length weave!U KNOW u werent born with BSL hair girl!
