  • nice man, i have about the same one. but mine appears to be an older model. still plays like a charm. no better way to listen to music

  • Cool looking cabinet; looks 10 years older than it probably is, like something from a David Lynch movie. Looks like real wood, too! They took a few shortcuts with the components though; never seen separate vol controls on a console, or full-sized Garrard without an 11" metal platter. Dual and Garrard must have sold low-end changers to console makers in Canada that were hardly seen in the US.

  • Re-capping the amp and/or finding more substantial woofers of the same size, or even adding a hidden subwoofer might improve the bass response. There's enough character in that piece to justify the investment.

  • is this stereo solid state or tubed? I love vintage stereos and currently have my kenwood tuner on the bench getting new lamps. did you get those big boxes of vinyls as well?
