mine does that too! Pedster i've been watching your video's there amazing! if your looking for kit, i'd suggest the numark m1usb! it works vdj like adream! and it'd be super easy to crossfader etc!

wot is the differnce betwween vdj 4.0 and 5.0 please can some one tell me , i have over 30 skins for my vdj 4.0 and they all work fine , i no vdj 6 is out now aswel can some 1 get back to me thanks

Don't Use Virtual Dj 5 skins and it will work fine.

if u use vdj 6 skins it will work fine i tryied that, it only does that with vdj 5 skins.

I've had these same problems, it's not about the sound card... go to settings/performances and set the latency to 64 (1ms)

You could try dedicating a bigger % of the CPU to Virtual DJ. Set the process afinity.

Hee Hee I should have read the vid description first.

I never used the keylock function when I had VDJ.

My problems occurred when I tried to lower the amount of CPU.

PC AV driver worked ok but the tunes sounded ever so slightly as if they were being played through a hair comb.

I switched to ASIO driver and the sound went west. =(

I fiddled around with the settings until I eventually got angry and uninstalled the bastard and went for Traktor3 instead. Best choice I ever made.

Yeah mate I had the same issues.

I know this program has been your weapon of choice for years Ped but I recommend NI Traktor3.

There's no latency probs even with a crappy soundcard and it uses buggerall CPU. (at least in my experience anyway)

yeah, I have had this before. It started when I turned up the slider in the options menu that lets you slide between fastest and best quality.

Like people have said before me it's the software, not your PC.

This is also one of the reasons I'm slowly switching over to traktor.

ive had this problem befor trying raising the latency under the sound setup ive never understood why this happened to me since i had a creative extreme gamer sound card which for a while was the best that i knew of but i still hear the poping i never noticed it only happening with keylock on though
