they're completely copying SSX 3 with that in-game phone. SSX 3 had this thing called an m-comm, which was a phone, or pda type thing, where you can go up and down the mountain, and you can travel to diffrent areas, and read messages. SSX 3 is better than this anyway, and it was made 8 years ago.

@tbrew222 I disagree, it's all opinion really. Have you even played Stoked? Stoked Big Air edition you fly a helicopter around and choose where you want to drop in.

Educate before you comment, these two games you speak of are completely different and personally, I find Stoked Big Air more fun.

1. Yes i've played it.

3. SSX 3 isn't about simulation and realism, it's about fun, and pulling of physically impossible tricks while flying hundreds of feet in the air. thats why I say it's more fun. Stoked mainly focuses on realism, and not........ funness........lol.

This game is ok, unfortunately there is very little variety- all parts of the mountain look the same, and all the mountains are basically the same. Also there is only 2 or 3 different challenges which are all basically "do this trick, beat the high score".

Lastly, the trick system sucks. You have to do grabs with the same anologue stick that you use to ollie, but have to let the stick return to neutral position b4 attempting a grab or else you do a plain method.

No proper off-axis spins too.

hucked = fast spinning (prewind) + more than 3 grabs.

styled = slow spinning (dont push your LS all the way to the direction you want to spin)+ only 1 grab.

once you know its easy!

wrong. all you have to do is build up for pre-wind and flip, and you can do smooth rodeos. It might recognize them as frontflip+360 or backflip+360, but who cares... it's still buttery smooth. and if you ARE a snowboarder, and you have this game for 40 bucks compared to other games that aren't nearly as authentic, you aren't going to bitch... you're going to be STOKED!

instead of moving the left stick ALL the way to the right or left, you barely move it either direction so he slowly spins 180. Also you have to be grabbing your board during the whole rotation. Dont go over 180 degrees either or it wont count.
