@DeathbeastGregar yeah, that's true... I mean, you had a boss fight for each new weapon... But also sometimes just for the hell of it. In addition, each boss key had an guardian miniboss as well.. Something I missed to see in twilight princess and should bring back in future zelda games.

@WiiMario035 i love how the music plays so abruptly as the mini boss apears at the same time, its like "OH SHI IM NOT READY" i remember the first time i beat his, i was incredibly lucky. i just charged in like a mad man with no regard for my health, hit him a few times but noticed bleeping noises and found out there was only 3/4 of a heart left. i took my time after that being extra carfull because if i died, i would lose all those heart pieces i had recently gotten and the captains mask. SCARY

As a weapons expert I know that wielding a double-headed axe the size of a small child is impractical, and such a weapon would have better use as an executioner's axe because of the heavy weight.

i loved fighting these guys. my favorite miniboss! I liked how in the spirit temple you fight 3 in a row and then at ganon's castle you fight 2 at once. Fun as hell. In majoras mask you dont fight them as often but the music fits when you do fight them! Iron Knuckles > Darknuts any day in my opinion
