Does anybody still believe in selfless human LOVE and compassion?
These two people are giving eachother LOVE and in doing so, giving it to themselves too. It happens when I write songs for other people too. Why? Because we are all so alike. In our kids, we see ourselves and in our parents what we hope or fear to become. When two people can share bother their hope and fear without regret, people sing the greatest duets. (and have great frienships in the music they create!)

I really do need to ask: Where did the incest thing come from? Hell, where did the "This movie's bad" thing come from? I remember everyone loving the crap out of this film when it first came out.
I don't see any incest in this scene, or the movie itself. It feels like the bonding of an estranged father and daughter through singing. EVERYTHING has to be about sex now. Disagree? Look up 'Rule 34.'

That the movie's director realized that "Crusin'"'s lyrics could have a double meaning - one of a close personal (not 2 fuckers in the back seat of a car) relationship, puts the seal on a musically talented father and daughter coming together in this story line.
Let us not forget, children, it was our parents who fucked us out out of love too.
So, yes, its THE close call of art that puts Smokey were love is always hot.

this is fantastic. they sound so good together. gwyneth has so much control and emotion with her voice. and huey lewis, well.............. he's huey lewis. he's one of a kind.
by the way, i've never rubbed peanut butter on my ears. there's no point in it. and don't any of you try to manipulate me in doing so. it won't work.

wow i did not know gwyneth paltrow could sing! i was just listening to that song 'just my imagination' and i wanted to know who the woman was singing it with babyface and now i know.....She has a lovely voice so shocked!! Go gwyneth girl you are beautiful woman as well as a beautiful singer:-)

I am impressed that Gwyneth leaves the singing career to her husband, even though she could easily succeed with a recording career as well.
I don't care if people find her pretentious and annoying, I have always admired her beauty and her talent.
