@koolman280 This zoom level finds 'atoms' at around the 10% mark, if you start with a scaled object. This goes so mathematically deep...its staggering. Once you comprehend these types of numbers, go infinity times deeper, then you understand infinity XD
Became extremely intense at the end. I imagine that's what going down a black hole would be like. I wonder if the team placed the original group of black pixels in the focus in order to allow a new point to zoom in? I also wonder how many zooms it took to process that kaleidoscope. Plus, if you choose not to blink in the last minute, and look away when it's done zooming, your vision will blur like if you looking through water.
Happened to me as well after only watching for a few minutes. I think the brain automatically counteracts the zoom in by zooming out what you're seeing, to give it more time to process the information you're trying to focus on. When looking away, it's still in this mode, so if you focus on objects in the real world they appear to zoom out. The human brain is pretty f*cking awesome.
hey man i have a question, at the end... how did you get there? i mean, in the zoom-work you found the fractal again an you decide to stop there? or you make the calculus work knowing that you will stop there......and by the way why 275? why not 270 or 280? ...so you make the computer work by itself and it ends in the same fractal...or you make the zoom by yourself and in a certain moment you decide to stop.....which one? CONGRATULATIONS MAN EXCELLENT WORK
@fractalzooms Just what sort of monster computer do you use? Granted, mine is not much to brag about but I get REALLY slow rendering on as high leves as 2^100. Well in some areas at least. Anyway, I can't imagine exploring manually at these low levels. It'd take weeks per frame for me.
if the universe is vast and infinite and it never ends with scattered galaxies an stars and planets all round it,wouldnt that make us REALLY small and insuperor to the galaxy. and wouldnt that mean that we dont exist?that we are just parts of a little fractal like the galaxy possibly to be a really small thing compared to something that controlles it?just thinking about it makes me wonder about life
did anyone else throw up?

pfff... that aint zoom... that is animation.. you cant have that much images and colors at a fucking black spot like this at the beggining..
telhs12345 10 months ago
@telhs12345 it never zooms into blackness, only into the edge between the light and the darkness. at these boundaries there exists infinite detail.

what is this exactly?
thumdoctor 10 months ago
This image doubles in size every 4 seconds for over 13 minutes.
If first image was on a 21 inch monitor by the end of zooming it would be well over 10,000 milion million times larger than the known universe.

@ascidro No, you didn't. 0.05% of it maybe. At a much lower resolution, a lot less colours and significantly slower.

is the appleman we see in the end of this vid actually existing or did you added it?
i ask, beauce i thought that you can see this characteristic shape only turned by 90, 180, 270 degrees...
MainzCalling 1 year ago
@MainzCalling it actually exists - I did not add it. that shape can be found an infinite amount of times within the original set and at any angle.
