@Blasthood On a second note. To not know when it comes to theology is an agnostic ideal. An atheist claims there is no god just as a theist claims there is a god. As far as I'm concerned, your comment is self refuting. In other words, you're proving yourself wrong. If the atheist was 100% correct in there being no god, we would then have subsequent proof, and the theist would be wrong. But as there is still a large debate going on over the issue.. you are at a standstill.

@andrewsapirate And so what? Does that incapacitate us from doing what we want? Does that mean we're going to destroy ourselves? The bible is nothing more than a book, like all the others. There are a lot of contradictions in the bible, which have also been refuted through scientific research. But then again, if you need fear from a "god" to live your life the way you wish, you're simply weak. A freak? Why is he a freak? Just because he lives a life different from yours makes him a freak?

@andrewsapirate You tell me that there is a god, and that god is the god of the bible. I don't BELIEVE that. Therefore, I am an atheist. If you ask me if there is some all knowing entity in the universe that could have created everything. I don't know. In that regard, I am agnostic.
Do you believe in Zeus, Odin, Allah, Krishna, etc?

Considering you are knocking my intelligence, I will without a doubt address yours, or lack thereof. And the deist must provide proof? Why don't you have to provide proof of the polls. If you use them in your argument you should undoubtedly be able to provide these polls without problem. You and your double standards and hilarious contradictions are quite amusing.

@Blasthood On a second note. To not know when it comes to theology is an agnostic ideal. An atheist claims there is no god just as a theist claims there is a god. As far as I'm concerned, your comment is self refuting. In other words, you're proving yourself wrong. If the atheist was 100% correct in there being no god, we would then have subsequent proof, and the theist would be wrong. But as there is still a large debate going on over the issue.. you are at a standstill.

First off, read that story again. God didn't command anyone to kill a child. It was a test to prove Abraham's faith towards him; He would never allow his son to be killed in His name. Wars fought in the name of the devil? No. War is meant to protect us. Flew in to the World Trade Center because of the devil? No. It was a just an extremist faith. I'm afraid your argument contains a lot of misconceptions.

Jephthah in Judges 11:30 sacrifices his daughter as payment to God for victory in battle. In Exodus you are taught how to beat slaves.
