@andrewmfilms Kk, I was mainly judging from the camera locations, angle and whether there was any movement on the camera (miniscule tremors, whether the camera zoomed in or out at any given moment etc) as that usually indicates whether there is someone on the other site of the camera.

Ok I'm pleasently surprised. you managed to make the lift-off pretty good. it certainly helped switching to that second shot and adding debris. too often you see people take off with bad physics and youre just left wonderin "wait... whaa?? that was retarded". this works. i like the exhaust trail you left. good job!

What did you use for smoke and light. Was it optical flares from VC and particular? Or something else?

How do you get the nice warm feeling in your colour correction?

@MrGranaatan Thanks! I just mess with Curves a lot! Turn the red up a bit, and turn blue down some for a warm feel. I also like to use CC Toner, change it to a warm color, and turn the blend w. original level to about 70%. Then, to make it look a little more cinematic, I add a small tint to it to desaturate the image slightly.

dude, what's your work flow with codec for the T2i with after effects? what do u export to?

@sk8ersick666 Well, I just import the H.264 footage from the T2i into Premiere Pro, edit, then import the Premiere project (.prproj) into After Effects. In After Effects, I export my files back to H.264. Good quality with a reasonable file size in my opinion.
