wow if this was really recorded in 91... Redman was truly ahead of everyone... E Serm went in on this... but damn Reggies flow @3:12 is 3-4 years ahead of the times...
@1993bitek1993 is originally on some mister cee show or at BDP - Ya Know The Rules track. then can be hear on famous 2pac,biggie ,shyheim freestyle.etc
@musiqgem. Yeah, I heard this from a Stretch and Bob recording from 96. I thought that's when it came out, but there's so little information out there on this record so it's hard to tell. I actually read Stretch's blog, and he admits that Hurricane G herself called him to ask if she had a copy of this song! Other than that, the only place I know of it other than that recording is from the Mister Cee best of Redman mixtape that came out in the 90s.
@strictlyriddim It has to be '91 or early '92 because Erick Sermon ended up using the same track on "Can't Hear Nothing But The Music" off of EPMD's 1992 lp Business Never Personal. Hot 97's Future Flavas didn't get a hold of it til the mid 90's then they played it a few times.

Her art stayed true but the record industry is built on selling records so if u don't sell you don't eat.

This Hurricane is way to real to get mainstreamsuccess. I wish she got mainstream money but i aint gonna lie, I'm glad her art stayed true and real.
