ur a dick that doesnt know what the fuck he's talking about, do u know how much these people train? try getting up at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning every day training for 4 hours, going to lunch then training for another 5 hours. they do that shit every day u wouldnt last the first hour with that shit

Wow, it seems like the original role and intent of that temple and art has been comprimised severely in this modern world. I guess not even the Shaolin monks could resist the pull of major marketing and big money. Those guys are just performers now...
um no, they're not martial artists, they're a religious people, they use martial arts as a form of meditation, any "performances" are just to get money for their temples, or to possibly attract people to the temple as followers, only their not forceful as christians and other religions
I'm not sure exactly of the cost - I did shaolin as part of my random travels around china. its all easy to arrange - we just turned up and asked at the guesthouse we were staying at. the next day we managed to get a taxi driver to take us to tagou school after getting the receptionist at our guesthouse to phone ahead to see if we could train. the day only cost us about 200 yuan if i remember right - you can stay there for months, although i think tagou is one of the more expensive schools
