i completed the special ediont of DMC 3 on HOH with dante and vergil before i played any one difficulty (dante took aobut 3 hours vergil took 4) on DMD dante too 8 hours vergil took 10

actually... that seems to be on hard mode because hes repeating the same combos where as in easy he would be doing all sorts of different moves with rebellion.

Vergil's slash only did one gauge of health in the beginning, it's on Normal.....

my father played and he can't defeat virgil...but i have some questions...how did you get that much life? and for what are those yellow things under the life? and how can you use the blue orbs? i didn't play so i don't know...if somebody knows please response...

The Answers:

You can get that much life by buying blue orbs, or win blue orbs fragments. You can find the fragments in the game after finishing an extra mission, for example.

2: The "Yellow things" are from the Devil Trigger. After getting the DT you first have 3. DT allows Dante to change into his demon form for a limited time.(The yellow things)

3: When you buy/win/whatever blue orbs it will change into more "Life". You can increase it by buying purple orbs.

Ahh oO I see I made a typo in my previous reply. The "You can increase it by buying purple orbs" is another part of answer 2 XD

Anyways.

1: On the PS2.. you just have to press L1. (You have the DT after mission 7/Start Mission 8)

2: Well that answer is already in the previous one. Now I said that I made a typo it's more clear xD. By buying purple orbs you can increase them. But they will appear as white.

Man this fight was so EASY when you play as Vergil in the special edition.

heck the strategy is prettymuch the same with Dante too. Helm breaker every chance you get (The best time is when he's also doing a helm breaker), combo him when he's stunned.

Pff, you shouldn't need strategy to win in the final battle, not even on the hardest difficulty. If you just fight well-roundedly as a Trickster you'll go very, very far. It's an easy fight.
