Watched one of these this weekend. It's pretty amazing to watch and they are pretty accurate in their cutting. However, the wind was picking up and I was getting nervous watching that Hughes 500 dance around trying to hover.
Just don't talk dude... The power company that contracted them to clear the power line right of way, also contract a chipping company to come in behind....
They used one of these to cut 3 trees out of my front yard today without permission. Lucky I do not have a shotgun because I did not know what it was and it knocked out the electric and I thought we were under some kind of attack. Guess who is getting a shotgun now. If this had dropped on a house, it would take it completely out and I would call this a pretty residential area.
the pilots herding cattle in Australia are pretty good too.
