  • To americans, please notice that it's not the 1% that is the problem.. It's the 0.000000001%

  • Police or Peace Officers?

    "Consent of the governed"

    so

    :)

  • This is why yelling random insults at all police is wrong.

  • Well, good luck with that.....I haven't heard anything recent on the news about OWS....so I'm not really concerned anymore....but have fun.

  • crazy old man

  • Philadelphia Police of the 14th district allowed many crimes against me, including dozen burglaries and assault to hide the crimes of the real estate and developers of Mt Airy and ChestnutHill and Politicians who illegally dug up toxic, contaminated soil next to my house and put me in hospital and made me homeless for 6 years. The District Attorney Seth Williams is best friends with those who have spearheaded years of hate crimes toward me.

  • What if that cop is a spy? (I'm kidding no yelling at me please) The reality is no matter where they are, cops are out numbered by the population they serve. I think statistics would prove the cities with the most restrictive gun laws are the cities with the most police brutality. Why? If a cop knows he can hit someone with a stick with a 0% chance of getting shot,he's gonna hit someone. Guns don't kill people - people kill people. That is smart cop, he knows he is out numbered.

  • GET JOBS YA PATHETIC PIECES OF SHIT!

  • I want this video on my E53 unit.

  • FAKE!

  • There are so courageous people, like this gentleman, in occupy. Their mic checks are a thing to behold. There's a compilation of them called "Occupy vs. Top 1%"; you guys should check it out.

  • @BigBoiBoss3456 Can you really imagine if all of our police spoke their minds on every hot issue like this? Really? If you take a minute and think about it, I'll bet you change your mind. We can't have police challenging each other by taking sides with themselves and then challenging civilians who disagree with them. I'm all for individuality but cops must remain neutral and exhibit no biases for reasons exactly like this.

  • This guy was arrested too. Fuck our police state.

  • ...I'm beginning to see the light...

  • I am a retired Nevada State Trooper and I find this man to be genuine and refreshing! Finally a cop who thinks about the PEOPLE and questions crap orders from those in charge! I feel the same way! I would be proud to be arrested beside him standing up for our rights!

  • @a1096blond As a retired Trooper, you're entitled to engage in any activities you wish. However, this guy is retired just like you so he isn't a cop. That being said, if you were a Trooper and true to your calling, cops must refrain from exhibiting any bias in matters such as this.

  • @timmiet47321 says WHO???

  • @keriscorp watch?v=_p_pj00Wyhs&feature=related

  • @keriscorp or this search for this video..Retired Philly Police Captain Ray Lewis After The Eviction of OWS From Zuccotti Park 11/15/11 (LoFi)

  • "Who tells the Mayor" what a stooge. "Making something out of nothing."

  • this is a cop I can support, one who not only takes orders but contemplates weather or not those orders are legitimate to begin with. A lot of these other cops accept their pay and let their boss do the thinking for them.

  • @aeckstrand003 I agree but the problem is that those cops cannot go against their orders - for fear of losing their job: their family and way of life depends on their income. The issue is far deeper rooted: the issue is money itself.

  • This guy is Real , he is a Honest officer of the Law , this is how police need to view this movement then we might actually have a future for our children besides concentration camps

  • 40 dislikes /2500 likes = hmm .01

  • the bank of england tells the mayor what to do, we have to stop banking ourselves... set an example today...

  • Greed, its what makes us human, its what separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. Without greed, humanity would have never made it out of Africa and would have never become the dominate species.

  • @junkers1337 Now that our Species is out of Africa, we are long over due to realize that we should share and help one another. That's what I learned in preschool.

  • @cbasallie absolutely!!! There will be violence soon. It will be directly linked to OWS and unions. "SOLIDARITY FOREVER" is all you need to know

  • Shame no one has a better quality video of this guy. I'd like to hear more of what he has to say.

  • He is telling the truth, I know as stated above I was a cop. Respect him most cops will agree with the protesters, however follow what he is saying.

  • This man should be Chief of Police somewhere.

  • keep occupying.to know where to go next watch ''Zeitgeist moving forward''

  • The ZIONIST MEDIA is funded by BANKERS. BANKERS control the MEDIA.The ZIONIST MEDIA is the propaganda arm of the FEDERAL RESERVE BANKERS whose practices VIOLATE the CONSTITUTION.

It is an ABSOLUTE FACT that the media has incited riots among OWS in order to discredit the American people.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • lets clone him! then all the police will be as intelligent, well-spoken, and wise as this captain. <3

  • @pinksorbet1 Yea right,i live in philly when he led operation sunrise an operation cleaning open air drug markets..He had thousands of nin violent drug addicted people locked up.,An in philly that means sitting on a concrete floor for 22 hours,no summons, philly sucks..Once philly pd always corporate government trash.

  • People need to have more crews and occupy where they feel they'll do the most ''damage''. More working people need to stop, take their money from banks, stop using credit cards.

  • But things could be constructed in a way that gives power to the people, everywhere. Local committees in every region made up of ordinary folks can then be plugged in to all the rest around the world. There wouldn't even need to be a central power. No more need for military or even police. Any sort of global police force would be taken negatively, and could lead to more problems than without. With everyone employed, crime should be minimal.

  • @london2z that's simply impossible.

  • WE NEED FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE. NOT REFORM.

  • You need a role model? Well we have a video that you might want to take a look at...

  • This is a great man who beleives in you all (US & UK police officers listen and wake up because this is your future being destroyed) Trust in people who have the strength and guts to stand up to payed off authority figures remember what he said the White Shirts Hate him and the Mayor is the Mafia Boss of New York.

  • Americans better wake up ! and wake up fast ! your money will disappear from your account's soon, begin taking your money out of your banks ! buy silver and some gold. don't wait any longer and don,t pay attention to what you see and hear on TV.

  • god you people are stupid the 1% gives you all jobs, well those of you who have jobs that is.

  • @GOLD117on 99% made the wealthy rich with out slaves no man can be wealthy .

  • @GOLD117on your an ignorant retard. This is about much more than that, billions starve, billions live in shit, rights being taken away, food being taken away, planet dieing, you do realize the richest people in the world are the people who profit of war? profit of human MISERY? Fixing ALL THE PROBLEMS is so FUCKING easy, seeing all the problems are SO FUCKING easy, 30 billion / year would eradicate hunger, thats what we use on military per week. Wake the fuck up.

  • well, now.....a cop with a brain.....God bless the man....he can always stay at my house if he needs to....i mean that....

  • @keriscorp He's no cop. He's retired and now he's impersonating the police. He doesn't represent police in any way, shape or form. If he was still active, he wouldn't be saying a word.

  • @timmiet47321 you said "He doesn't represent police in any way, shape or form"

gotta agree....doesnt sound like any cop i ever met....well....3, maybe....and youre point is what? cops are silent obedient thugs? something else?

  • @keriscorp My point was twofold. First, you said, "well, now.....a c op with a brain...God bless the man." Blah, blah, blah. So I clarified for you that the good captain is not a cop...anymore. My second point was not that cops are silent and obedient thugs but that cops are required to remain unbiased. Could you imagine if all the cops in NY were able to choose sides on this issue. They might start beating eachother and then turn on OWS for prefering that they pick sides.

  • liberal crybabies

  • I wish I could like this 100 times

  • @NYYankee42 the badge is trash like you

  • Cops don't realize how much dignity this guy is returning to their name

  • @Saleenrulz He's retired and he ought to be locked up like the rest of the ows lemmings.

  • @timmiet47321 I had no idea he was retired

  • What was talking about at the very beginning about Oath Keepers?

  • lol,the wall streets elite leaders just showed themselves with the dislikes votes .

your reign of terrors will end.

    see: Act of 1871; UNITED STATES CODE, Title 28, § 3002 (15) (A) (B) (C):

  • Support u 100% from Bangkok Thailand, We are 99%

  • Wall St only has the power of the government gun. Remove government regulations, and you remove the power of Wall St.

  • ALL OWS Must see "FALL OF THE REPUBLIC" free full length online. Its where we are right NOW.

  • Truth be told, most underpaid overworked have needed to join the OWS movements and should have joined the Civil Rights movement way back when. But too many of them get off on being the most-powerful-poor-people in their city. This little smidgen of power has prevented them form joining the agents of change and serving as agents of status-quo. They're just fist-banging weekend barbecue male-bonders.

  • That is the best way to show your indignation against wall street unscrewed

economic mercenaries....go get it for more officials like you Ray....

  • Wow i thought id never meet or see the face of a decent or good cop and here he is! He appears to be sincere, Peace be with him. God had sent him to show me otherwise. I would loke to meet that man one day and shake his hand.

  • The man's a hero.

  • When the next economic downturn happens and municipalities start going bankrupt, you will see more police officers coming out to protest. Mark my words.

  • big it up for the cop..............never thought id ever say that.

  • We are with you, Capt. We need more people like you, who are not afraid to speak in public. Peace.

  • All the bad guys are being captured by the galactic federation of light. ETs will soon arrive because 2012 is the deadline

  • vote him in for president

  • @tomanyasses WHY? Stop fucking saying that everywhere? Just becuase someone can use their brain? of course hes better than obama and all but being the president is a fucking disgrace, you join the ranks of the biggest cowards on our earth, selling their body, soul and mind to corporate interests. So stfu. I knew this stuff when i was fucking 8 years old, just because media brainwashes you want anyone who can look thru it to run for president?

  • @Etrajbe i knew it forty years ago . and you think you would be different your a fool someone who is little better is still better. its always vote for the less evil

  • @Etrajbe ok, alright, well do ,got ya , right on

  • man i wonder if gladiators is on lol, bill hicks was cool

  • Only one policeman in the whole United States had a courage to save the reputation of the US police.

  • a police officer should be able to say their piece and get involved if they feel so, sounds like a humanitarian to me.

  • It's a free country and if a police officer wants to get involved and speak, they are entitled to this.

  • anyone know if he got released safely from jail? from the peaceful protest

  • The 1% oppress the working class. The police are part of the working class. The police defend the 1%. How can anyone be confused about this?

  • My 99% fellows, it is time we stopped dreaming the American Dream. Start realizing it. What kind of future will a new graduate have if he/she owes tens of thousands of dollars in student loans, and yet has to settle for a ten dollars an hour job at Home Depot, Walmart, or Subway? Will we stay silent on our knees and succumb to the brutal oppression and hardships that the top 1% impose on us? NO, we will stand up and fight to take back our rights as the middle class of America.

  • @ihytvm the american dream was based on shallow objectives.

  • @ihytvm Middle class....lolololololololol why are you crying...Does that mean the working class can come and steal your money once you get it back from the upperclass.

  • @ihytvm bla bla bla dumb is dumb as you are

  • @ihytvm @bigmac329190 My addition to ihytvm's comment, after the first question: 'How does this displacement of employment affect those w/out college degrees, if jobs usually filled by this group now are filled by those w/ degrees?' ihytvm expresses issues that face the "middle class" AND the "lower class" even more so. By limiting corporate influence on gov't, we obtain the ability to transform our country's class issues, e.g. max. wage laws to provide funds for an increased min. wage.

  • @ihytvm Also, minimum wage is lower than $10/hour throughout most of the U.S. The federal minimum wage is only $7.25/hour.

  • @ihytvm you stupid 99% are made of college kids who are angry that there not making 300k a year yet.

  • This is actually the first time i get to see how he looks like.

I can finally put a face to a small reference, in one sentence, in a newspaper.

  • Alright... Good deal!!! We are the 99!!!

  • I wanted to cry watching this... We need more police officers like this. Thank you Captain. Your family, friends, neighbors should be proud of you.

  • A man with his own mind! Great American.

  • A man with honor.

  • He's a true hero, but hopefully the first of many. In almost ALL revolutions, nothing really important happens before the police&military realizes they're also oppressed and take side with the common people.

  • the man is a legend

  • This guy is a hero to me, he can't be the only one, it must be so difficult for him to be there, imagine the peer pressure he must be under.I hope his family is proud of him.If i was his son i would be so proud, let's hope he's the first of many to have the courage!

  • GOOD MAN !

it will take people to do things like this its the beginning of something beutiful ;)

  • MAD RESPECT FOR THIS GUY!

  • He should stick to playing football. What a disgrace and a traitor!

  • @ChiefLaughingChicken you arsehole

  • This....Is not a pawn like the others!! Stay strong Capt, you're using your brain.

  • GO OCCUPY YOUR OWN STATE

  • Comment removed

  • Get together, eliminate lobbying. Spread the word

  • Why don't the police of the world and the government servants realize that they are the 1%. They better open up their eyes before it is to late. The government will not take care of them or their familys. Peace & God Bless ,Police Capt Ray Lewis.

  • An embarrassment to the uniform!!!!

  • @joemc6277 Says a guy on youtube lololol

  • A man that doesn't drink the koolaid of the mainstream media and the status quo. It's easy for the ignorant to say these are all jobless, smell hippies but he has a mind of his own. Genius, you don't see that much from police types that just obey rules without thought.

  • Guess he'll be losing his pension over this idiotic move. If he does, he deserves it. Soon he will be standing on a cold wet corner with these dolts complaining at how unfair life is. Get a haircut, shave that beard, get rid of the piercings, take a shower, delouse, get rid of the dreadlocks and GET A JOB!!

  • @jlvia33 cool story
