Yes, the American Top 40 was broadcast on many great stations in the USA and around the world. Another great station that broadcast it was CkPR, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
a few years ago our local station "My 103.9" was playing old countdowns, and this was one of them, certainly because of the John Lennon tribute. Powerful! ... but on a humourous note, i noticed that they edited out about half of Don Williams' "I Believe In You" (because that might be the ssssssssslowest song ever written, a program director's lament) :)

superboeller, have ya got the AT40 show, where Casey doesn't intro, or outro, 'Startin' over. I'd love to hear that part again, if you've got it!
