Actually, this guys was done experimenting a long time ago. He now makes music very deliberately according to his own highly developed aesthetic. Branca's music isn't for everyone but I would point out that you are likely listening to this through some weak ass computer speakers only after the video compression process has destroyed much of the tonality of the original recording.
Is it just me or is the "experimental" notion of noise music getting rather old? Surely the future is in polystylism not dense sound. Look at Berio, he could use noise but at the same time it was tuneful, every idea he had was perfectly justified, as were Stravinskys and the daddy of 20th Century experimentatio, Schoenberg. It's like recent Stockhausen, there is no direction, no art, it is more about pushing the boundary merely for the sake of it and where is that getting us.
Not really, there is a huge difference between noise and, say, mild chromaticism. Between dissonance on this scale and noise there is little difference (but that in itself doesn't mean the dissonance has to be ugly)
PERFEKTNO!

mmm... poor balanced and thus badly orchestrated. Could have been done much better.

Noise can't be tuneful or melodic... it wouldn't be noisy then. There's a huge difference between dissonance and noise.

I like How Melt-Banana have grown, especially in the latest albums CellScape and Bambis Dilema.
They went from being quite painful to listen to, to gaining a good, individual sound that actually has a really good tune and still remains "noise".

And now the synonyms for experimentalism are "noise" and "crap"?
Just pointless.
