  • Without scrolling through the comments, did anyone mention the WWB looks to be softpoints rather than hollows? Just an observation. My 5.5" stainless SBH just came in today... Feels like Christmas...

  • yup it was my first handgun 33 years ago

  • I bought Mine in stainless with 10 1/2 in barrel had my gun smith prep. for scope . Which i have yet to use. Great Deer gun!

  • No disrespect, only my opinion , but Yr taking to long to shoot it, why, practice getting on target the split 2nd U C the blade intersect the target break off the shot. It's not a sniper rifle, so snap off the shot the instant sight & target meet and Yr hunting and defensive skill + accuracy ( all 3) will be enhanced. Peace

  • i'm getting ready to buy a super blackhawk while the sbh is built hell for stout the strongest toughest 44 magnum is the ruger super redhawk period. i also own the gp100 and a model 29 and 27 smith but the ruger super redhawk is the badest of them all

  • @doug5959 And the Redhawk Cylinder is longer. This means you can seat and crimp a bullet out, pack more powder in for a heavier bullet for higher velocity, and still keep pressures standard. Any lesser gun would not be up to this. Accuracy is average, and single actions have the edge there, but they are built like tanks. For strength, I have seen nothing else that will compare when it comes to the double action revolver market.

  • YES you can see a very substabtial difference, what grain is the Blazer and what is the Winchester....the grain has a hell of a lot to do with the recoil too. I just found you, good video, and I just got my Ruger SBH, it is a 10.5.

  • my friend hunts with a Ruger Redhawk, it has a the sweetest trigger I've seen in a long time!

  • had to pause the video to make a comment. I love recoil, too! everybody's always saying how they can buy a 22 and come out and plink all day long, and they shoot, what? twice a year? They put about 20 rounds out there and get bored! I want to feel the gun, 30 cal rifles, .308, I got a .44 on order I pick it up Tuesday. how you say any more recoil would make you uncomfortable, that's the MOST recoil I've ever seen in a revolver, the gun goes vertical! def need a stronger grip dude!

  • fpsrussia the best

  • lol

  • I know the freedom, and Dan Wesson are great revolvers, but DAMN, I love my SRH. Good vid bro, gotta love shooting when theres snow on the ground

  • Apparantly yall daont have a clue about revolvers Freedom Arms is jus a hair bit stronger than a Ruger although the Ruger is a damn fine gun but is definately stronger than a Smith any day but if your looking for protection in a double action buy a Smith if you wanna hunt buy a Freedom Arms or the more economical Ruger which is the best bang for the buck

  • Nothing compares to Ruger products, we own like 10 guns by Ruger? They are absolutely amazing. We have a REALLY old M77 in 7mm Mauser, so beat up from the mountains of Alaska, and still works well.

  • luv rugers man great vid... i have a ruger 44 mag super red hawk and have took 3 deer with it great guns.

  • Nice vid, but where is the Redhawk mentioned in the title? ;)

  • sooo bull shit hey i did not see you there

  • thank god you said ruger..... cuz if this was a smith video... we'd be arguing right now superblackhawks and super redhawks alaskan are are the strongest most stout revolvers in 44 mag period.....nothing can touch em. they will take the hairiest scariest handloads you can imagine

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 RIGHT. ON. THE. MONEY. BRO!!! I am so tired of people talking Smith this....Smith that...yada yada yada. I think they just like the name or something. I compare Smith to Orvis....yes good products, but a large part of their following is secondary to extreme MARKETING!! Not saying I dont like Smith though, or wouldnt own one, because they make a good gun. Strength wise, I have to go with the Ruger..just basing that on what various people I talk to say--never actually tested.

  • @someharleyguy the exceptions are the 460 xvr and the 500 magnum smith has made these guns very stout. but if you want a good revolver for a good price go ruger. my favorite revolver is the gp100 in 357. It isnt the smoothest trigger. from the factory. smiths have smoother triggers (not by much) but i think the gp100 is the best revolver you can buy for the money in the world... period!!!!!!

  • @someharleyguy Having owned both the Ruger Blackhawk and the S&W 44 mag , I'll have to respectfuly disagree. In my opinion the Dan Wesson is by far a better weapon. Super heavy frame, interchangable barrels, and the most accurate 44 mag I've ever fired. It comes with a 4,6 1/2,8,and 10 in barrels. It's unique design allows changing barrels in a matter of minutes. The ported barrel tames the recoil beautifuly. If you ever get a chance fine sir.... try one out and I'm sure you'll agree.

  • @nerblebun how can you compare a Ruger SIngle Action to a Dan Wesson DA? By virtue of this being a single action, in it's class it is the strongest, toughest out there, and if a Dan Wesson is built a little better, because it is a DA, both of these beasts will easily shoot the Buffalo Bore 340 grain 1,649 foot pound monster, so, it is AS STRONG. A S/W cannot handle the BuffBore load.

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 smiths are very strong as well but rugers have longer cylinders to take more powder or a bigger bullet and they also have a tighter lock up the smiths would take those loads if they would fit... its just they would loosen up damn quick.also smiths uses a metal forging process while ruger casts their metal so a smith takes much less metal to be the strength it is while a ruger takes more metal to be the same strength as their casted metal is weaker

  • @TheBassGuitarist1 I love smith guns. . i'm not knocking smith for their durability. I just know that my ruger redhawk will take ANYTHING i load in it. 340 grain hottest of the hot magnum loads 1500 ft lbs all day long. my hand cant take it my gun will. try that in a smith. timing will be off after awhile.and yet i still think smiths are a better gun. they are the BEST trigger money can buy after a colt python on a revolver.

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 smiths are beautiful guns as well love my smiths and rugers

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 o ya man my ruger has swallowed a lot of loads that were my hand loads and i always loaded as hot as i safly could

ruger all the way i like smith and wesson to but not like my old ruger have a good day

  • Just getting back into shooting. Checking the recoil on both cartriges. Love the Remington, bought both kinds. Impressed at how level and steady you hold that 44. Have both blackhaws 6 inch and 71/2 inch barrel now will see which one shoot better, have a feeling the are similar. Have 357 Vaquaro also, will compare.

  • @wabbywab Thank you for your kind words. AWESOME guns you have!! Any plans on making a video of them? If you do, let me know-it would be cool to see them. If you wanted to post them as a video response to this vid, that would be awesome aswell. Thank you for your comment!

  • This is where the Pharaohs went shooting four-thousand years ago. Your neighbors must all be gun enthusiasts, very cool set-up. Those Remingtons really snap that barrel compared to the Blazers. If the Blazers are the newer Boxer primed cases it is possible to reload them once. I do this with semi-auto Blazer range "brass" during winter shooting and let it fly in the snow after one relaod. Nice Ruger, love the long barrel.

  • @theKGB65 I would have to say you are correct about this being where the Pharaohs shot their firearms--a little known piece of archaelogical history that is often left out of history books; probably due to some political agenda I would say. And thank you for that awesome information about the Blazers, I did not know that could be done...very, very good to know. Thank you!

  • @someharleyguy There is a video that I did a while back called, "Reloaded CCI Blazer Cases" if you're interested in seeing if a person can survive the experience. Just loaded up a big pile of .45 ACP Blazers last weekend but didn't sort the cases, kind of hard to de-prime a Berdan case... crunch!

  • What? A volvo? what happened to the tactical cavalier?

  • @jackmeoffer It's in the shop. I'm getting a 3" lift installed...
