I got same in common with Wayne re: ET film, i never forget the film in cinema when i was young boy with my mum and my brother, i cried so much after that, i always want to be deaf actor and deaf director so far my dream had come true... interesting about 'Deaf Lens' term, it's similar to film language: 'POV' = Point of View! i enjoyed this clip very much, cheers!
Wow, we're DEAFinetly are thinking alike!!!! I have always been questioning the traditional cinematography and scripts... Thinking that ASL is indeed the language for filmmaking!!! (And you know what's amazing? My application to the film major has been rejected by the RIT director of the film department for having strongly believed that ASL is the language for film. The director himself mentionned this to me in person after arguing for an hour and half!!! Lol!
