Yes, the gtr gets smoked again by the m6. Just like the m6 evo tech smoked it too. Now the zr1 isn't it's only competition. I use to like the gtr but hate it now because it's like everyone's favorite and people think it's unbeatable. Germany's starting to use to turbo. America's doing good now but have to step it up quik.

After watching it over and over it looks as if the Gtr let the gas pedal, hard to believe it - that much difference in speed once the M6 got going after burning its tires only comes with significantly more hp - like try 100 considering the M6 slightly hevier, thanks the impressive video, but I dont buy it.

The feeling is awesome when dropping the clucth and 4 wheels screeming for a grip, much more exciting to controll the power by us drivers other than the stupid electronics! I had an Eclipse GXS (all wheel turbo), had big turbo installed and the hole nine yards, reliable 450 hp at the crank (4 sec. to 62). I suprised those rich boys with their fancy cars at that time!

GTR has launch control and has advantage in horsepower to weight ratio. It is no wonder that it won off the line. On the track it would kill the M6. But since the M6 is designed to go to 200 mph (though limited to 150), it will eventually catch up.

i believe mod for mod. the gtr will still win. the m6 in this vid claims to be moded to 590 hp. and the gtr is only 480.... stock 480 vs mod'ed 590 and the gtr ate him from the start to the rev limiter.
THE gtr HAS 550+ AT THE CRANK, its been proven, it has 480 to the wheels and 470 torque, so its well in the mid 500+ mark, and the Z-06 runs away from it even on a launch with a good driver

technically..you should do your homework, because despite its 4wd...torque adjusts from 100:0 to the rear...the front wheels drive when there is a loss in traction or during high speed cornering...there is 50:50 torque distribution in those instances
iam a huge fan for bmw and the m6 is not an exception, however i saw many races involving 997 turbos vs GTRs, and the Nissans always won, and i believe that the 977 turbo is much faster than the M6, so this race is pretty hard to believe. eventhough i would take an M6 over a GTR anyday!
he shouldnt have let the M6 tires turn that much in the beginning he should have switched to 2nd gear faster he took a while. AWESOME M6 u gotta love it

I only know of the Autobahn that allows or even gives enough room for a car to reach 372km/h, so unless he lives on the auto bahn and only drives on it then his car is useless, as it only wins after the first 23 seconds of any drag, which is when everyone forgets that the drag even happened.

GTR has launch control and has advantage in horsepower to weight ratio. It is no wonder that it won off the line. On the track it would kill the M6. But since the M6 is designed to go to 200 mph (though limited to 150), it will eventually catch up.

i believe mod for mod. the gtr will still win. the m6 in this vid claims to be moded to 590 hp. and the gtr is only 480.... stock 480 vs mod'ed 590 and the gtr ate him from the start to the rev limiter.

THE gtr HAS 550+ AT THE CRANK, its been proven, it has 480 to the wheels and 470 torque, so its well in the mid 500+ mark, and the Z-06 runs away from it even on a launch with a good driver

technically..you should do your homework, because despite its 4wd...torque adjusts from 100:0 to the rear...the front wheels drive when there is a loss in traction or during high speed cornering...there is 50:50 torque distribution in those instances

iam a huge fan for bmw and the m6 is not an exception, however i saw many races involving 997 turbos vs GTRs, and the Nissans always won, and i believe that the 977 turbo is much faster than the M6, so this race is pretty hard to believe. eventhough i would take an M6 over a GTR anyday!
