bcuz those fire eels and zigzag eels are actually warped fish, your eel seems more like the moray type, but freshwater..im confused??

many eels are born in fresh water and go to salt later , same with salmon , some lion fish , it gives them at good head start and when they transfer to salt its like they get cleaned up as well ,,, salt parasite cant live in fresh and vise versa ,,, some shark do this also and even as adults will go into fresh streams to delouse
