  • the control posts you can actually kick them down... GIVE 'EM DA BOOT!!! ^_^ !!!!!!

  • I've also been trying to figure out is the out of sync of the audio and gameplay fixable on an emulator before I start up my LP... or was it always out of sync even on the N64? I no longer have a functional N64 to find out. I wonder if you ever found out Archfrost

  • @KTLZ i still have my N64 and this game, everything is perfectly in sync

  • @Benderbot50 alright thanks for the info... then this game just can't be emulated properly

  • o.o are you playing this on a emulator?

  • i dont know why a lot of people hate on this game. it was really good. and the first game i actually liked on a console. come on i was 4.

  • Parents got me this game way back the day i had my 2 k9 teeth pulled, this kept me entertained lol, this first part always reminds me about it. Wasnt too bad but the game was great

  • oye we como abriste la priemra puerta me puedes decir por favor

  • if we players were any smarter we'd ber geraniums ^_^ (referencing the houseplant comment)

  • i had this for ps1 and fking got stuck on first part

  • 1:57 Legos?

  • i thought this was only for ps1

  • It looks kinda crapy. But this was a good game to play.

  • And for the record the PS1 version has easier controls.

  • To lift up that big door..MegaMan sure is strong!

  • this is one my all time favorite games!

  • OMG! Nostalgia Meltdown!!! SDLKJSFDL:KJD:LFDSKJ I gotta play this again

  • This.

  • never even knew there was a megaman 64 til I saw it on ign a cpl minutes ago

  • How open the doors????????????

    please

  • it can be open with the C button down

  • just pres the down arrow on the yellow buttons on the controller for the 64

  • Comment removed

  • press the down arrow on the yellow button side

  • on this game he looks like mega boy ha!

  • isnt this magaman legends for ps1 is that the same as megaman 64 for 64

  • mega man 64 was here first and they just put it on the play-station

  • It was actually on the playstation 3 years before the 64

  • sure it was.

  • Lol the ps3 wasn't even out yet. It was for the 64 then they moved to ps1.

  • I didn't say PS3, I said the playstation (one) 3 years before the N64.

Like this, it came out on PS1 in 1997

Was ported to N64 in 2000

Again, I did NOT mean PS3, I'm not stupid, I know the PS3 wasn't out yet.

  • It wasn't the 64. It was a disc add-on to the SNES. After Nintendo dumped Sony, they partnered with Philips and that led to the CD-i. Sony took their experience and created the PSone, which released in 1994.

The N64 came out in 1996

  • The SNES CD add-on was created by Nintendo and Sony, not the N64.

Nintendo dumped Sony, for Phillips, so Sony came out with the Playstation in 94'. N64 came out AFTER the Playstation.

The reason all the companies like Square left Nintendo for Sony is because the N64 didn't switch to discs, which are cheaper to make than cartridges

  • no it wasn't the 64 was here first and so was mega man 64 so you sir are wrong

  • maybe you should go look it up first, yeah?

  • i already looked it up

  • so then you'd know that it came out on the PS1 three before the N64.

They changed the name from Megaman Legends to Megaman 64 also.

  • look dude i know for a fact when mega man 64 came out because i am a huge mega man fan and i am doing a project at school that has to do with all the mega man games so don't try to tell me so don't try to tell me when it came out because i already know that mega man 64 was here first

  • All you have to do is type 'megaman legends release date' into google. This isn't an opinion, Megaman legends came out september 15, 1998, Megaman 64 came out january 16, 2001.

  • Iniana Jonaes has got nothing on megaman! XD

  • sound is horrible

  • i use to love this....!!

  • I remember getting this game. I don't know how it's supposed to be a megaman game lol it's an entirely different concept. That being said, i LOVED this game. There were so many different weapons to get and i loved the space levels at the end. I don't know why but this game is so fun!

  • I only played this game once and I thought it was awesome

  • LOVE THIS GAME!!!

  • i remember i got this on my 5th christmas, the first level is big maze with dark halways and weird music, it was too scary for me at like five yrs old so i never really played it but i saw my cousin play it to the first boss when i was seven and then it wasnt that scary

  • This isn't megaman! Megaman is megaman the first one that came out in 1987 or sumting was the best one

  • Go into the in-game control settings (if there are in the n64 version, I don't remember), and find what button opens doors. Then go into the key config on the emulator, and match the 64 controller key to a key on the keyboard.

  • umm... you can usually go into the options menu to map the buttons to whatever keys you want... problem solved.

  • Now, THIS is MEGAMAN.

  • lol I thought he said "sought out by explorers called niggers" xD

  • they should make an anime about this kind of megaman not the gay net battle shit

  • i agree im mean this is like 1 of the best games i ever played for n64

  • Funny thing is is that though they gave the N64 1 a bad score, at the time I saw it, The Ps1 1 was in their top dl's

  • @conkersbadfurdaywar I agree a very awesome game.

  • And Hard mode will not be disappointing. Money was not the only thing that was harder. I particularly had trouble on the boat levels.

  • thats your opinion you dont need to bash the game if you dont like it

  • i thought it was a really good game. i preferred this over the original.

  • You my friend must have never played Megaman Legends 2. That game such win.

  • how do you open doors

  • You would push whatever would be mapped as down C. Or Triangle on the PSX

  • this game you cant open doors.. the game isnt done. If u find a door ur stuck

  • Are you talking about the emulated one or the actual cartridge? Because I have the 64 cartridge and it works fine. Haven't played an emulated version.

  • i played it on the PS1 version and it works completly fine

  • im playing this on an emulator and i dont know how to open doors

  • I forgot to mention on the first comment. I think the button was actually circle. IDK because I played Legends 2 and I just forgot.
