  • i dont tell my mates i like kylie,no way, lol.but this song is hard and solid with great musicians, seen this song done with other musicians but this is by far the best version of this song out there, these guys play it hard with no frills,no flash harrys here,a good UK version.i have seen this song done by an ausie backing group what a set of very vain musicians are all ausies vain, mmmmm, kylie looks good as well.she can come round to my house anytime for tea

  • the manics work with kylie was a farce, she didn't understand them or what they are about, they should have worked with traci lords again, whores are smarter than starlets..

  • @dljc1979

I disagree mate. Im not a Kylie fan at all but this song works really well..just sayin like ;)

  • @UkePunk | yeah the music is good, i had nothing against this tune but listen to her style of attitude in singing this song, it's the same as her previous idiot misunderstandings of the manics and punk in general, SHE should not be singing this song, it doesnt suit her,

  • damn!!! I need so MUCH a wallpaper of her dressed like that

  • Awesome! TFI at it's peak was so exciting and like "The Tube" before it, gave ordinary folk like me a taste of cutting edge London - after a boring week at work in a boring regional town. Chris introduced her as "Five feet of dynamite!" and she was it was a terrific start to a great show that night. A few weeks before she had popped in to chat about the album she was so excited about and he played a bit on a cassette player. She's a great sport.

  • Awesome!

  • sigh...i miss 'Cool-non-gay-icon' Kylie! Shame this era never amounted to anything and lead back to dross like 'Light Years', 'Fever' etc... I had high hopes at the time!

She looked way hotter than usual too!!!!

  • Pétur, the guitarist is the man!

  • she had it - she lost it.

  • Its la la la not na na na.

  • like the track the manics wrote for shirley bassey, this song wouldnt seem out of place musically on the manics album written before this (journal for plague lovers for the bassey track and everything must go for this.) the chords really suit her voice really well though!

  • One of my favourite Kylie songs from her Decon years. Its great!

  • GanGsta!

    love iT.

  • What an underated tack, one of her best.Love it.

  • LOVED kylie's "indie" phase!

she so should have persisted with it.

  • So loved this song, loved the vid to it too ! Is it not on You Tube?

  • Her only decent song, rest in my opinion is shit, especially....na na na na na fukin na one.

  • In my opinion Kylie was great from 1988 to 2000, but I agree with you: "na na na na" stinks and since "fever" album she just acts like an egocentric diva and she doesn't care about singing good music

  • this song is fantastic, i loved it when it 1st came out but got very little air time ( like most good songs nowadays ) i find that it has a northern soul sound to it, maybe thats just me though.

  • The Impossible Princess album can't make up its mind what it's doing and as such is very inconsistent. This song is about the best thing on it but is very much a MSP song, just listen to the chord progression, it's what James Dean Bradfield was writing for the Manics at the time. I like it! But I can see why "pop Kylie" fans don't... :-)

  • What a good comment, yea your right it's the only Kylie CD in my collection simply because of the MSP connection, i was a musician but you don't need to be to hear the Bradfield/Moore similarity, but i must admit to a certain degree i could possibly stomach some of her music after this but i would not buy any though.

  • So called music experts say this was Kylies darkest era,but it was by far her best, writing her own stuff and breaking away from the overrated Stock aitken waterman rubbish, she grew up with this album and being co-written with James Dean Bradfield i think it was class.

  • I agree with you, but I prefer S/A/W "rubbish" instead of the garbage she does nowadays. Kylie was great in the 90's

  • i lov ths song !!

OMG i neveeeer see this perfomance

    thk you

  • my god... a glorified karaoke singer? kylie minogue??? what a JOKE! kylie has one of the most distinct and beautiful voices in modern music and i dont think ANYBODY let alone a karaoke singer sounds anything like her. she is unique and thats why she has been around for 22 years and still going strong! look out for her 11th studio album end of 2009!

  • Her only EVER good song which seems funny, seeing as was by the Manics - maybe says it all. To be fair, she is a glorified karaoke singer - but she was cool for a bit, although not as much in the charts - which again says it all.

  • this and "All I See" are my two favorite Kylie songs. It's too bad she got such negative feedback for this song.

  • I love her cute dress.

  • LOVELY...

I wish she could do more songs like this one...

  • her voice is squeaky here ^^

    and she abiding slip off..

    but I Love it, I don't care how <3

  • I still think THIS is what she really wants to do but she failed and she's afraid to try it again.

I can't believe she prefers to perform WOW over SKOB...

    Bless her.

  • Yes, I agree with you. I think she wants to do something different but maybe her crew and record label (and maybe her insecurity) are not letting her make the music she really wants. I love her pop and disco music but I would love her doing something different. Thanks for comment.

  • well the album didnt sell and she was dropped from deconstruction and no-one was interested. i agree i think it was a great album but sometimes - as she decided - u have to give the public what they want and rein in yr artistic integrity...

  • sooo correct.

it's kind of like she's gone backward with her career from this point.. creativly speaking anyway.

  • I love this performance, very good.

  • dios se le ven ricos esos labios y ese cabello y ese cuerpito dios

  • my fave Kylie song 2....

  • my all time favourite kylie song!

  • shea beautiful... then and now!!!!

  • Hot!?

  • oh woow, this was back in the day!!!

  • i think jdb produced one of her albums actually

  • I like this song. It's from her best album Impossible Princess.

  • i love that album 2

  • totally agree. i love kylie fullstop, but impossible princess is an amzing album that sounds as fresh today as it did then. it should have been as successful as fever!!

  • a loveher

  • This is what I like best: small stage, real band with guitars and my favourit drums and... HER. I wish she would sing rock songs. Dreams, dreams, dreams... Who knows... Nice video. Greetings from Poland.

  • Couldn't agree with you more my friend.

  • Thanks for the response. I've just sent you a message by youtube's mail account.

  • Ahhh. TFI Friday. How i miss the long sweeping camera shots.

  • This is one of Kylie's best albums, though not one of best tracks - it's a bit repetative? Love ya Kyles!

  • Thanks for posting this vid itismynothing. This is one of my all-time favorite Kylie songs from one of her finest albums, "Impossible Princess." And how FABULOUS does Ms. Minogue look in this vid!? Whoo hoo!

  • love the tune& kylie looks so fuckin horney in the video.

  • I hear a Manic Street Preachers song that is so completely not anything that she should be performing. this causes me pain!! I will never again listen to it.

  • She wrote lyrics for the song!

  • they wrote the song together

  • nicky wire wrote the words for this!

  • and JDB would have did the music (because Nicky pretty much only does the lyrics and a backing vocal), hence they both wrote it- the WHOLE song.

  • yeah, the song was written by manics.
