lets see,cop says"i got a job that pays me six figures, when they say lock people up,i am going to do it" to the cop that said that, and the ones that think that way> what side will you pick when we go flat busted on our faces? your pensions will be gone,YOU are protecting the wrong side, how about your families? when the economy falls, after the dollar goes to nothing, those six figures will not mean shit, choose a side, but choose wisely, and to the venders, maybe try for a permit nxt tme,cvr ur ass
why are u kidnapping innocent ppl, looool friggin hippies. id have more respect for you if you got a couple straps and licked off at these bumberclart babylon.
Are you people NUTS??? Your protesting selling lemonade??? WoW you have no life. You have freedom because of the Police and the Military not because your dumb ass protest crap.
@Clongane94 Oh I know the point...Americans are loseing their freedoms right? Well guess what we have not lost a single freedom its the same old tea-baggers/occupy wall street bullshit lie.
@cf19d Did you know that at any given moment, Americans can be arrested under suspicion of being terrorists and not given a free trial, just sent immediately to prison? And you try to tell me that's not violating any of our liberties? That's obviously in direct violation of the 5th amendment. And not to mention the SOPA & PIPA acts, that basically give the government the ability to censor the internet at will, similar to what they have in Iran and China. That's a violation of the 1st amendment.
@Clongane94 Did you know how easy it is to get a permit to sell lemonade? Also Americans are not immediately sent off to prison on suspicion of being a terrorist with due process. Your blowing things out of proportion just like the tea-party nuts and the repubs do.
I wonder how many real crimes those cops could've prevented or arrested the perpetrators of in the span of time it took them to shut down the lemonade stand.
@JaredJosephHoag Indeed. To think that these cops could have been doing some good when instead a bunch of attention whores willfully broke the law, continued to be obstinate and tied up the time of these officers.
I do sympathize with that side of the argument, but there is a greater principle involved. The kind of laws that become customarily passed without regard to public desire have been increasingly prevalent and increasingly ridiculous. This is about obedience. I think what they did in DC was a bad approach, and harms their cause. But I still think that the laws that result in cops shutting down lemonade stands around the country *are utterly absurd* and a dialogue needs to happen.
Poor drones.
