Epic. A metal remix is what this song needed, it gives it the energy it lacked orignally perfecting it as a whole, adding some of norfair(If thats what I'm hearing at the solo) spiced it up a bit as well.

@ChaosInsanist True, but it would be awesome to see this in the next metroid game in the following situation: for the first half or so of the game, its done with a piano and very calm, but In the 3/4 of the game, you go to phendrana and the whole area starts falling apart because right underneath you is norfair/magmoor and ridley/kraid is causing the temperature to rise. it would be intense and awesome to see giant icy rocks crumbling as fire shoots out of the ground and stuff.

I disagree. My band did some pretty sweet covers of the Super Mario Castle theme and "Armored Armadillo" from MMX.

Although we did a Super Metroid cover as well, it doesn't compare to stemage's cover so I couldn't rightfully mention it in the "pretty sweet" category. =P
