you will be surprised they fly and land as easy as your go fast sport jets. you may need a little more room though for the takeoff. i dont like scale jets because they are draggy and need more power to wieght to fly nice.

Planes like these are designed to be aerodynamically unstable so I'm surprised that as soon as the engine stopped that the plane didn't fall out of the sky.

r/c models usually have the CG more foward than the actual plane, A real modern military jet wont fly without the flight computer consistantly making adjustments

They're not any more stable under thrust than not. The airframe is designed to be unstable for greater manueverability, and the flight computers compensate by adjusting the control surfaces hundreds of times per second. On RC scale we cheat the aerodynamics a bit because we don't have similar on-board flight comps to do that kind of real time compensating.

These are turbine models they're extremely expensive this plane costs anywhere between 10-15 thousand. They can also cost 20, 40 even 50k upwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!
