Amen @sparklestargem, their an incredible band once you get on their level, some people think its just hippy rubbish, most think their a one hit wonder, the truth is their the most underated band i know of and the track their famous for (No Rain) is actually one of their most simple songs and far from my favorite. In a lot of ways, i think its pretty cool that blind melon arent popular, it gives people like us the chance to introduce people to them, all my friends love Blind Melon now lol.

i agree 100% here guys. i actually first became interested in blind melon when i got the woodstock 99 cd and fell in love with the live version of soup. i had all 3 of their albums for years and didn't explore them much past soup and no rain. i was writing a paper about a year ago and my itunes was playing and when one album finished blind melon the album started playing. after hearing deserted and sleepyhouse i was hooked.

@bouchvt True, Sleepy House and Drive were always my favorite songs by Blind Melon, Ive never really been a fan of No Rain, i actually consider it to be one of Blind Melons worse songs as its obviously aimed as at more of a commercial market. People that explored blind melon past No Rain would have realized that, I mean compare No Rain to Soup, sleepy house or mouthful of cavities, no comparrison, yet No Rain is the track their known for, funny how music works

I dont think ive ever heard a bad live version of any blind melon song, they were robbed of being one of the all time great bands. Their first album and the second album soup are still 2 of my favourite albums ever made, imagine if they made a few more studio albums, they would definitely be legends by now. He only briefly showed my one of their songs but i really got into them, i think it was the track Sleepy House that initially interested me
