  • Crikey, this should be the theme for minecraft.

  • @SnowBlind853 you have no idea how hard I lol'd.

  • whatz evaluation copy?

  • Very sorry to hear that. More and more of the folks I looked to for lessons throughout my life are "moving on" so to speak. Wish "them all" the best...

  • Georgia Carroll passed away a few days ago, on the 14th.

  • Kay married the hottie blond at 03:05 !!! :) Yay..

  • Damn people were happy back then. I can only aspire to it now >:)

  • Great Swing Kyser was the King! Made his dent in the Music World and moved on.

  • This song is pretty good.

  • As always, Ish Kabibble's part is the best.

  • i wish i was born in that time every1 looked so happy then

  • @I6IJoShI9I

I believe they call that "acting."

  • @funstuff2006 yea but from what my grandparents and everyone else back then said, people werent such assholes back then. its hard to finad any good people ugh

  • Its always a blast to see how much fun music was in these days!

  • this is pure gold man

  • How come womens voices arnt like that anymore? There like always high pitched or something.

  • @fallout3pipboy1

Back then it, It was in style for women to be feminine, so they talked in softer, more melodic voices, wore dresses, and girdles or corsets ( to aquire a more feminine look) I think nowadays its more popular for ladies to be more "earthy" and natural than the feminized, almost angelic look that they had in the past.

  • ha the army guys

  • The fellow with the bowl cut who shows up at 1:28 is Ish Kabbible: comic, vaudvillian and occasional coronet soloist witht ehKyser band. There is almost NO video of him anywhere - great find! He was a pretty big star back in the day.

  • Boy could they swing before bebop rhythmic sophistication arrived (!)

  • Where's Ginny Sims? She was gorgeous!

  • I believe Ginny left the band in 1941. I wish she hadn't. Her voice was the perfect compliment for Harry's.

  • i belive the trumpet soloist at 4:14 is my father, Ray Linn. he joined kyser when he left the dorseys.

  • You must be proud. He's really good.

  • this was from '42(?) and he was about 22 years old.

a good decade before i was born. i only discovered it about two years ago on late night turner classic movies.

  • who's the guitarist?

  • The guitarist is Boof Turner.

  • Georgia Carroll was a famous model who joined Kay's band and eventually married him. They were still married when Kay passed away years later.

  • The only existing movie footage of the Kyser band in color!

  • superb band thanks for sharing

  • The song's a bit silly but this was a fantastic performance which actually made me a fan of Kay Kyser and Georgia Carroll in particular.
