  • @antemiu I belive that is a "Jack Dempsy" i may be wrong though

  • sick color on that oscar

  • COOL =)

  • does he "bubble bath" over your airstone? mine love it. They take turns in the bubbles...odd

  • @xraynautilus oscars are clumby fish and run into everything, the more things the more they have a chance to injury them selves, oscars like open swimming area anyway, and you can obviously see that this oscar likes ppls company, knows when feeding time is, this is not a criticizing.

  • One sexy looking Oscar. Also Nice tank, how many gallons is it?

  • I'm putting my money on the earthworm.

  • that oscar looks black and gold, who dat

  • Now your Jack Dempsey wants some.

  • earthworms are my favorite thing to feed my oscar. they seem to love them. thats a green terror in there with the oscar right? are there ever any problems between the two?

  • i dont think its a red oscar if it yellow

  • your oscars are golden .. thts the way i see it

btw, how long is ur tank? 3 ft? 6 ft?

  • HOLY SHIT THAT FISH'S FUCKIN FACE WAS LIGHTING UP!

  • dude i had exactly the same in a 8x3x3 tank and my jack dempsey got eating along with the a jaguar lol they were together for 3 months then the oscar just got savage and ate everything i still have the oscar but i dare but anything back in with it you should put lots of bogwood in there oscars loves to swim round it. great vid man

  • what's the size of your tank?

  • DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!!

  • @bonesofsteel

How safe are the earthworms outside in our backyards and streets? When it rains, the earthworms are all over the sidewalks here. Are they safe to feed to my Oscars?

  • sabbath in the backround!! my man!

  • What type of Oscar is this? It's beautiful!

  • Nice,My fish love worms and about anything else I throw in there.

  • really nice fish u got thier i got 2 tiger oscers an a pike an it seems like this one oscer like to copy the pike an then the pike gets pissed an go hides its funny mabye one time ill catch it on tape an show u

  • Fuck yeah BLACK SABBATH

  • how much are these

  • @MrMessi78 I paid $5.99 for him

  • @bonesofsteel 5.99 huh what size was he?

  • @hunterb89 about 1" little baby

  • @bonesofsteel you got a good deal as compard to my arera

  • @bonesofsteel You got a good deal! I paid 12.99 for mine.

  • @MrMessi78

That's not a red oscar or (tiger oscar) its a bronze oscar I know because I have both.

  • @Hondawrangler

And yes they will eat worms, crickets, mice, frogs just about anything they can fit in their mouth.

  • Oscar's don't really care about hiding places..they're a very interactive fish and they associate you with provider of food so normally if they see you they will be at the front of the tank begging for food.

  • @RewnSkaype Agreed. . .hiding places are for the other fish!

  • put some more stuff in there to hide and play in... its like meow-schwitzs in there

  • @mkinsler91 I only have 1 Huge Oscar and 1 Huge Pleco. It's hard to make a hiding spot for them. Oscar just messes anything I put in the tank anyways :)

  • earthworms are one of the best foods for fishes, marine and fresh. Just the way they relish eating them should tell you something.

  • aww when u put vs i thought the worm was gunna win...

  • poor earthworm :((((

    lol^^

  • Dude that's a really cool Oscar!

  • Worm got its ass kicked, lol.

  • what size of tank?

  • Gostar de aquario vc sabia? é ante estresse parabens

  • Freakin' awesome fish.

  • Wow, now that was FAST

  • LOL. green terror was like "what the fuck just happned here"

  • Is that some kind of green terror hybrid in the tank too?

  • thats a very nice oscar

  • give him mice

  • I suggest giving the fish some more places to hide, so he can get away from humans and their gaze, and check the humans out from his personal spot. He has no place to get away from people's attention on him.

Can you imagine living in a fish bowl without any privacy when you need to rest from people's activities. Any humaine zoo these days provide private places for our zoo animals to rest away from the public.

  • @xraynautilus I had some plants and a fake cave but he would just move them all over then tank... I don't think he has a problem with the setup I provided him... He eats well and I keep his water very clean. Plus, he is way too big for any kind of shelter.. He would have no space to swim :)

  • @xraynautilus it's a waste of time decorating am osacr tank cause they just destroy it and move it all about

  • @xraynautilus perfect example of internet aquarium warriors like to trawl through youtube videos and force their dumb ass fucking opinions onto you. This tank is perfect, responsible stocking, well decorated and nice water quality with very healthy specimens.

Oscars do not need to hide you ignorant cunt. Shut your mouth, we don't care about your opinions.

  • @xraynautilus Well when you can find a cave with a big enough opening for a 13in oscar, let me know so i can get one.........stupid twat

  • how big is that tank

  • one fin is bigger than the other

  • aquele peixe sem ser o oscar é igual o meu não sei o nome mas é e ele é bebe ainda agora eu vi qu ele vai ficar horrivel

  • i love how you are taking care of your fish :)

not everyone cares enough to do that

  • Why don't I hear much about the black Tiger Oscar? I rarely see any vids of them. They're gorgeous! I have four Oscars. One in every known color. My black Oscar changes colors too. From an ashy gray tone, to a pitch black with gray blocks pattern. It's a sight to see! I love every one of them. A good fish for anyone.

  • make another feeding vidio but throw a bunch of feeder fish in with him.

  • is it me or is that oscar yellow?

  • @GoPlayMW2OrSomething The lighting makes him look really yellow.. Check out a newer video with my new lights and you will see his true colors!!! :) Oscar change colors with age just to let you know.. He was red when he was a baby

  • @bonesofsteel is it dead now or still living?

  • @GoPlayMW2OrSomething Very much alive :) I have a new video I posted about 1 month ago.

  • /watch?v=X8pgAAws2XA

please help i have posted this video i have 3 oscar fish temperature 28 celcius i give them hikari palets and live bloodworms(only sunday) they are active not behaving vierd please help me are they suffering from any deseaz that i know off...the white spots on the fish looks scary to me please help i clean the gravel once a week and keep the water clean change water 20% every week undergravel filter is attached to,fish eats swims around not a problem just the patches plz.

  • @vespilodegodfather buy some esy life kid, it turns ur water a murky white for a few hours but its great for white spot or u can use some methylene blue, but it turns ur water a dark blue and is a cunt to get rid of, but works wonders

  • niceeeee.. he is AWESOME BRO.

check out my new 150 gallon oscar tank with 4 new babies gonna be growing them bro. LOVE YOUR TANK AND OSCAR MAN.

  • shit dude that thing most coolest sexy sweet i dunno the word but thats best looking oscar i have seen ever!!!

  • hes like fuckin give me it fuckin give me it (drop it in water) splash thank yueee!

  • your oscar is easily the best looking one ive seen on youtube i was wondering what color it was when you first got him that he grew up to be such a yellow color. i have 2 oscars myself and absolutely love them and can always see myself owning at least 1 forever. beautiful tank though thanks

  • @thexghost78 He was dark red, this video is with my original lighting which made him appear more yellowish. He is more dark w/ orange. I have a later video with my new lights and you can see his real colors :) I will make another feeding video while I am thinking of it right now :) Check is out if you like.

  • hey i have an albino and tiger oscar both of them i bought three months ago. They are about 8 inches long.Everthing was fine but from the last two days tiger oscar became too agressive, it bang on the glass, try to eat snails and brawling with albino. And my poor albino is very scared of him.I tried to control his temper by putting a net and scaring him but that doesn't works. The moment i step out of sight, he try to do some really agressive feats. Please help me to solve the problem.Tank is 55gall

  • @santoshbharath123 that is bound to happen when u put two oscars in a small tank. u need another tank or you need to get rid of one

  • @santoshbharath123 First off in about 1 yea,r you will have to buy atleast a 90 - 120gal tank.. They grow very fast!!!! Just make sure the tank is 18" deep not 12" or 15". My Oscar does the same thing, he smacks into the glass all the time and makes a real mess of my tank sometimes. He attacks his reflection in the glass a lot! When I feed him I try to drop it right into his mouth so he does not chase the worm and hurt himself which he does sometimes.. Water changes is very important! Good Luck!

  • @bonesofsteel i have a question i have two oscars ive had them since they were babbies i put them in a 30 gal then they out grew tht tank so i bought a 55 gal there each about 7 inches long now should i be looking in two buying a bigger tank and is it to late to put another fish with them

  • @fish8265 Everybody has an opinion. 2 (7") Oscars in a 55 will not last long, if you are planning on keeping two Oscars for a long time you would want to invest some extra money and get 100+ min.. Make sure the tank is 18" deep not 15" I have two canister filters running with my 1 big Oscar and 1 big Pleco and I do a 60 - 70% water change every week. Two full size Oscars in a 90 like mine I think would be too small, you may run the risk of them fighting often (not to say they won't in a big tank

  • @bonesofsteel thanks ya i was thinking i needed a bigger tank but the thing is fish arent cheap, im sure u know tht already. i was thinking on buying a red devil but i was wondering would the oscars kill it because they didnt grow up with it? and if i do buy one should i buy two so he doesnt feel alone

  • @fish8265 red devils are probably the most aggressive fresh water fish you could get depending on the size of it and the size of your oscars ( if the rd is small compared to the oscars) the oscars will kill it but if it is same size it can very likely take over the whole tank and fight with everything and one day kill everything so if you want your oscars id suggest not getting a rd

  • Comment removed

  • @santoshbharath123 that's weird cuz my two tiger Oscars have been going crazy to they been fighting with algae eater

  • awesome fish dude!

  • @tubemadden I have a pair that spawned in my 75 so a 75 is fine for two oscars.

  • does the other fish is a blue acara?

  • @sothgunfil yes it is also known as a "green terror"

  • Not true once the fish are happy in the tank let them live there

  • why red oscar ?? he is yellow ??

  • is the JD still alive?

  • @CanadianCatastrophes NO he is not.. I think Oscar claimed the entire tank one night.. He looked pretty bad when i found him :(

  • What an upset! The worm almost had him!

  • Flawless Victory

  • Hey what is the minimal tank size for two oscars. Ive heard you can get away with having two in a 75 gallon but im not too sure if this is true. ive just been coming up with the same answer of 55 gallons each. please get back to me.

  • is that a sun fish??? lol

  • looks awesome, I can't wait till my red oscar gets that size.

  • I remember playing an old video game called Earthworm Jim, and the first boss was a fish in a fish bowl. It plays the boss music and says "fight", then Earthworm Jim just eats the fish and automatically win the round.

  • Some people like at least a 125 for an Oscar but a 90 is very sufficient, I don't agree that a 55 is minimum because a standard 55 is not wide enough for an Oscar, I'd say a 75 is minimum. A 75 and a 90 have the same footprint, so as far as an Oscar is concerned it's the same thing.

    He looks great!

  • he ate that in one slurp! Like spagetti! O_o

  • hey forgive me if im wrong about the other fish. is that a JD or green terror? or neither and if its one of those 2 do they pick on the oscar?

  • Comment removed

  • @OmgLowBattery 55gal is minimum. I am okay with my Oscar and Pleco. I have two canister filters going (Fluval 404 & Eheim Pro II) I also go a 60% water change every week

  • @bonesofsteel I use to do a 50% every week and the guy at my fish stor who is very experience in fish tanks said that 50& is too much a week and he said to do 25% a month

  • oscars are like cats because they have to be put together when tiny or they will try to kill eachother

  • lol, I tried feeding my oscars an earthworm once, and they were terrified of it! I had to chop it up into peices before they would eat it.

  • thumbs UP :D

  • thats a red oscar? never seen one those colors or marked like that. very nice fish.

  • lol im going start diggin out my back garden for my tiger oscar

  • They get huge! 90g? Bah, might as well make it a 200g fish tank.... Oscars are hunters and swim for miles so you cant win no matter how big your fish tank is... Some one with a 55g will always dis the guy with the 25g, and if you wait log enough you'll here about the guy that says 90 or 125g is the way to go....... Meh, who cares.

  • @JoeVSvolcano I just got a 90g

  • @JoeVSvolcano I just got a 90g

  • what is the length of your tank dude ? check out my uide on oscar care oscarfishcaring(.)blogspot(.)com

  • sweet music

  • We just got a big 150g tank... My boyfriends 11" oscar looks like a small fish in it lol. And pretty green terror.

  • Beautiful Oscar. I have a 2 inch Tiger Oscar named Stanley. Got him about 2 weeks ago and he's already grown about half an inch. Can't wait 'til he gets this size =]

How many filters do you have?

  • my sis has 2 12" oscars in 55+ gal, there about 3/4 years old and been in the same tank together all there lives, they was about 4" when she got em off me !!! 55 is to small to house 2 fish this size but she has done somthing right coz they are the baddest oscars ive seen about 2" wide and will swallow 5" cichlids all day, check em out !!!

  • bonesofsteel you seem like the kinda guy that i would get along with, finally someone who gives sound adice about oscars on youtube.

you would get along with me and everybody else on oscarfish (the website) its a great site for information on oscars and a great community

  • is that tank 2 small 4 that oscar?

  • @liamgray100 No it's big enough. They recommend 55 gal for each Oscar. I have 90 gal. One thing to make consider when buying a tank, make sure your depth is atleast 15". Some 90gal are only 12" deep and Oscar's can get 12" wide so it can be difficult for him/her to turn when it's not wide enough.

  • @bonesofsteel what is 15", is that in inch or feet?

  • @bonesofsteel a lot of oscars will actually get up to 14" to 15" if properly taken care of

  • @trujilbt Oh im sure they can but I think my Oscar is maxed out in length for my tank size. His belly seems to keep growing though and seems to be getting more aggressive when it comes time to feeding :)

  • @liamgray100 no, i'm sure its big enough for one oscar

  • Cool looking Oscar! nice colour.

  • This is a yellow Oscar.

  • thats an ugly terror lol

  • why is it called a red oscar

    its yellow.

  • @wetpet908 he was red when he was smaller. They change color with age. The lighting I have makes him appear a lot more yellow than he really is. Check out a newer video with my new lights and you will see a difference.

  • litros????

  • Woah he/she has great reflexes! ! :O

  • buy a million gallon tank for your fish :)

  • poor chiclid, BEAUTIFUL OSCAR

  • nice oscar and acara

  • i think your gonna need a bigger tank...lol

  • davvero fantastico che razza è?????

  • WORM CRUELTY!

  • hes a big oscar, do u have any idea wat the largest oscar is?..just curious. and u have a nice tank.

  • haha he just swallowed it

  • 1 sec to swim and eat

  • WOW! that was fast!

  • how big is ur tank cuz i have a 30 gal and want oscars

  • you can keep 1 single oscar and nothing else in a 55 gallon tank as the bare minimum size. I have a 125 gallon tank and I wouldn't have more than 2.

  • But would a breeding pair be satisfied with a 125 for life? how long could i keep the fry before i could sell them?

  • breakspirit is right. i have a 55 with 1 oscar, thats all i can have. i have a sump filter and it keeps the water crystal clear and ammonia free. if u wasnt an oscar, get a 55 or better yet, a 75. and a canister filter. i dont know it a hang-on-back filter will do it.

  • Awsome vid.. keep on them coming!!

  • awsome i was woundering how much do oscars cost cause im thinking of getting one your fish is BADASS

  • that oscar is extremely beautiful

  • how do i get my bigger oscar to stop picking on my lil oscar ??? plz reply

  • @mrhepden well... you could get more little oscars... people say its best to have either one oscar or more then two that way the stronger one cant pick on the others

  • take both of them out, move the decorations around, and then put the little one in first, then the big one.

  • Nice Green Terror.

  • ITS A BLUE ACARA

    AND AWSOME OSCAR 10/10

  • is that a jack dempsey in the tank !

  • Awesome oscar and tank setup.

  • how is your oscar yellow? ive never seen a yellow red oscar

  • what light's to you have?

  • Wow great colours nice dude!

  • Loving the black sabath being played in the back ground haha, nice fish
