@00wyk Actually I think you might be and right perhaps I wasn't really allowing for the effect the advert might have in encouraging people to think of rescue greyhounds as potential pets. I can become a bit over protective towards my sighthounds and was probably being unnecessarily cynical.

Net10 sure is a good service provider to be with it seems from all the reading I have done. Is it really unlimited time for $50 a month or is there a catch like roaing or long distance fees?

I wish I could see more good deeds being done through the Net10 videos that are so enjoyable to watch. The world needs more hero's and good guys not more contracts that take away your freedom of choice of plans and that rob you of your hard earned money by charging at least twice as much for calls than Net10 plans. Net10 offers a Smart phone for only $59.99 for an Lg900G so why would you still want to be on a contract ? because they offer no advantages, but Net10 does.

We adopted our greyhound about 6months ago, he is 7, one of the best decisions of our lives!! He is one of the best dogs I've ever had, most adorable, loveable, cuddly, even to the point of pushing us off the bed, best pets EVER !!!

Very touching add, it seems Net10 really cares for animals and people, it makes you trust Net10 and you then think they must surely have us the customers interests at heart. Well they won the JD power award for excellent service twice in the last 2 years so that must mean that they want to offer their best prices and services to you surely.

@ boomchaos64 I've also often wondered how it is that Net10 offers the same service for less than all the other cell companies. So yes, why would anyone pay more for the same thing? In fact at this point, it's not even the same thing...it's better. Don't know of any other post-paid provider offering unlimited everything for $50, and I don't even have to sign a contract.

Oh, and well done to Bill for looking out for those that can't defend themselves.

Net 10 Unlimited has seriously been the best thing. With times like these its so nice to have a phone company who isn't trying to take all of my money. I buy it for like 45 bucks a month and its unlimited everything. texting, minutes, web, and 411

I'll have to admit, the ad is a little out there. However, they do have a valid point. Many cell phone companies charge way more than Net10 does. And the Net10 customer gets exactly the same service so there is absolutely no reason why a person should pay more than necessary for a product.

what i really like about net10 is the fact they care about the people who use their products, they take something and they think every way they can improve it for the people who use their product, our grandparents live far out, we visit them and we don’t get charged extra for leaving the city and we always have signal no matter where

I love this ad. I know they are taking advantage of the hard work and compassion of a selfless man but it makes a valid point. Why should cell companies be allowed to cheat many of us out of hard earned money? I like Net10 for their 'no-evil' slogan but even more because their rates and charges are the most transparent and clear of any cell company I know. Thanks Bill and thanks Net10.

Greyhounds are so special, magical, spiritual.

My life has changed for the better since I brought my greyhounds into my life...peaceful, positive and lots of great fun watching my Grehounds go for a graceful run by the seaside...Rescue a greyhound and make some meaning in your life. It sure beats having noisy kids and a bad marriage.

I like it very much... it's--- unexpected, and that makes it noteworthy. I have dear friends who raise and race and retire greyhounds -- they have at least that level of love and compassion and would love to be working with someone like Bill as they work dilligently to find the best homes for their dogs.

LOVE seeing the plight of greyhounds highlighted in a very clear way. Less convincing is the cell phone sell job... Is Bill being forced to use a specific phone company? The basis of the "overcharge" argument is entirely empty. I resent the company that leverages an animal-rights issue to sell product. It's kind of warped.

You want a reason to switch? How about, "We have never and will never support illegal wiretapping..."
