midatlantic09: i highly doubt that Knight will be a dissappointment. He has the speed, the strenght, and the talent. he can score and take control of the game. Wall is a great player but had a nice amount of help at UK. But Knight will fit rite into place with Coach Calipri teachings.
I believe that Coach C can make knight play so much better than what he is in high school...he is a star athlete but he's got so much more potential. Can't wait to see the Cats in action next year. GO BIG BLUE

I suggest you look up the Rivals rankings which have Josh Selby ranked #1 not Brandon Knight. You sound like an ignorant Kentucky inbred hick to me. Rivals says Selby is #1 so by your logic Selby is better than Knight since you referenced rivals.

Any answer you give won't prove anything. I'm not from Kentucky and have yet to understand the "inbred" stereotype when it isn't true. No more so than other states anyway. Seems that the people who make that accusation are the ignorant ones.

If you know enough about kentucky fans you would understand what I mean with the term "inbred". I don't mean inbred in a hick sort of way. I mean inbred in the fact that if you play for Kentucky you are obviously the best. This is the view of most Kentucky fans these days. Amazing how a decade of irrelevance can breed so much enthusiasm for a program that has done nothing since 98. You are a kentucky fan no matter how much you lie and say you are not.

@mlive81 Well i do live in Kentucky and this is the best basketball program to attend. And to say we did nothing since 98 is narrow minded unless you just consider winning the tourny something. I don't mean to make excuses but we haven't exactly had a coach like Coach K, Bill Self, or Jim Boehiem.

it's unfair to compare B knight to john wall they have different games. B can become his self he doesn't have to try and be the next john wall. Both are good I think knight will be a nba player regardless of if it take one year or four.

John Wall could have done so much more, but he played within his team, saying that Knight can run the offense as well as Wall, and lead the fast break. It was at the end of games when John WaLL Stopped being a team guy and then did what he wanted..at will. And that won UK a lot of games. Can Knight do that as well? Hopefully he won't have to. He'll let Jones or Kanter do it

lol yo our recruits that we have gotten are planning on staying for atleast 2 or more years wanna know why? because next year we have the number 1 point gaurd and number 1 small foward commited already with the number 2 center considering and number 2 power foward considering along with a wholee lot of top 10 players considering.. so do the math, calipari + best recruiter = ridiculous team. besides all of that, knight told his parents that hes staying for atleast 2 years

@Supercoolgeneral nah man john wall is special. you have never played against john wall have you? yea, hes ridiculous, but don't get me wrong knight is damn good also. I'm a UK fan as well so i'm not dissin anything your saying, but john wall is NBA material, his consistency on ball control is ridiculous, hes so damn fast but yet he controls the ball so easily? and he can score in so many different ways, you don't really see knight getting creative with his shots, he relies on his pull up jumper

@chrisloe223 yea he is good no doubt in that but im pretty sure john wall is a supersenior and he is a year or 2 older then knight but knights pull up is so nasty and if you cant stop his jumper then you cant stop hisdrive because he will just blow past you if worry about his shot 2 much

midatlantic09: i highly doubt that Knight will be a dissappointment. He has the speed, the strenght, and the talent. he can score and take control of the game. Wall is a great player but had a nice amount of help at UK. But Knight will fit rite into place with Coach Calipri teachings.

I believe that Coach C can make knight play so much better than what he is in high school...he is a star athlete but he's got so much more potential. Can't wait to see the Cats in action next year. GO BIG BLUE

15/15 from the line is really impressive but 35 attempts from the field is way too many. esp. in high school. with his ability to penetrate and draw a crowd he should look more to give it up inside and rack up the assists instead of shot attempts.

im excited about this kid i saw him play at the flyin to hoop in dayton ohio , he is the real deal makes it look so easy. Can easily say with him and stacey poole UK next year will have one of the best if not the best guard combos at the college level in 2010-2011 season
