  • Republicans justify death because they are on the side of god, the same way suicide bombers justify their acts.

  • What can I say? A group of nutcases applauding state-sanctioned killing belong back in Barbaria Land.

  • @Bradrocksable yes,the republicans(and probably the democrats) are going the way of the dinosaurs anyway and good riddance to them.any political party calling the death penalty "justice" is completely backwards and beyond repair.the civilized nations must be stunned by our backward politicians.even saying something like this publicly is near illegal.france passed a law making genocide denial illegal.we have genocide protected by our legal system.

  • Why is it supposedly politically incorrect to report Black on White racially motivated hate crimes. What is politically incorrect about news coverage of reality, the reality appears to be that far too many blacks are raised with hatred in their hearts for Whites. I guess due to the lack of media coverage, I'd never heard of those 5 Tennessee Blacks that carjacked, beat to shit, repeatedly raped the teen girl in every way, cut the teen boys penis off while gang raping him "prison style" & -

  • @70scarrestoguy strangled, shot him to death. Then they dragged his body to nearby railroad tracks & burned his body to hide the crime. They strangled, poured bleach down the dead throat of the teen girl & dumped her body. One video says into a dumpster & another says they dismembered her body & left it in five trash bags within the house where the crimes took place. Four Black males & one Black female, WTF is the sense of putting those POS in prison?

  • Here's a great reason for Capital Punishment & I hope I'm still alive when these POS are executed. Lemaricus Davidson sentenced to death. ( Uploaded by pysiheditor on Oct 30, 2009) - The gates of Tennessee's only death row prison opened wide for Lemaricus Davidson tonight, hours after a Knox County jury sentenced him to die for his role as the ringleader in the January 2007 carjacking, torture, sodomy/rape, mutilation and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

  • @70scarrestoguy You feel that murder is bad, and your answer is murder? In addition to this hypocrisy, you assume that the state is infallible, and only administers Capital Punishment unto those deserving, that the state would never murder an innocent (innocent via definition of the state, not your opinion or Common Law; Jews executed by the Nazis were not innocent). It is sad that you feel that murder is okay when practiced systematically.

  • hey if someone killed your family and pets you would want them dead too

  • @catchmefoo777 No I would not.

The death penalty is a vengeful punishment that achieves nothing.

  • @Stickmaleboy so if someone stabbed a pregnant woman 80 times in the stomach and then burns her alive its ok? we should forgive them?

  • @catchmefoo777 and how is life imprisonment forgiving them?

  • @Stickmaleboy What about those 2 POS that followed a mother & her 2 daughters home from a grocery store in Connecticut. They forced their way into the home, beat the husband nearly to death & tied him in the basement to die. Then forced the wife to withdraw $15k from the bank. Those 2 POS raped the girls, Hayes strangled the wife as he raped her. The husband escaped to the neighbors home while the 2 POS set the house on fire & burned the 2 girls alive. Then they stole the family car, rammed a-

  • @70scarrestoguy police road block near the house while attempting to escape. Steven Hayes received a sentence of death for the rape & murder of Mrs Petit & killing the girls. Komisarjevski was convicted on 47 felony charges & was sentenced to death for the rape & murder of the 11 & 17 yr old girls. Komisarjevski doused the girls with gasoline, setting them & the house on fire. Your against capital punishment but your young & have an idealistic view of the world. I'm fairly certain you've swall-

  • @70scarrestoguy owed some of the recent politically driven media bullshit. If you can maintain a civil conversation over our disagreement, then I'd challenge you to briefly read the Connecticut 2007 Petit family murders. Google Steven Hayes/death sentence & Joshua Komisarjevski/death sentence. Google Mt.Vernon, NH Home evasion murder of mother & attempted murder of young daughter. NH has capital punishment but WTF, nobodies been executed since like 1939.

  • @70scarrestoguy >implying life imprisonment is an easy punishment.

I'd argue it's worse than the death penalty.

you sit in prison reflecting on the current state of your current life until the day you die.

The death penalty is just a calm death that achieves nothing.

  • @Stickmaleboy If a person is convicted of Aggravated/Capital Murder, then a life sentence without the possibility of parole is a waste of prison resources as well as taxpayer dollars. It equates to nothing more than warehousing a worthless POS who isn't worth rehabilitating & will never contribute anything positive to society. That person isn't incarcerated for life to allow them the chance to become rehabilitated. A life sentence without parole degrades a human being to the level of an animal.

  • @70scarrestoguy No, killing them mercilessly degrades them to the level of an animal.

Life in prison without parole doesn't allow for rehab. Neither does capital punishment.

And please stop bringing up the tax dollars when it's been shown time and again that upholding the death penalty is more expensive.

The crux of the argument is that capital punishment is completely unnecessary. Life imprisonment sans parole achieves the same end with added benefits (cost, no chance of wrongful execution).

  • @70scarrestoguy People convicted of Aggravated/Capital Murder should be permanently removed from all of society. Their a worthless drain upon resources that would be better spent on prisoners worthy of rehabilitation. Their also a danger to society because they could possibly escape, I realize U.S. prisons are well built but remember how many violent prisoners escaped after the earthquake in Haiti.

  • And now they boo the Golden Rule.

  • stupid bible thumpers... if somone is going to kill an innocent child or person. they deserve to be killed themselves.

  • @15jthomps So you say god should be killed? How dare you!"!!

  • @15jthomps A murderer doesn't deserved to be killed, capital punishment isn't about killing. Nor is capital punishment about State approved revenge (an eye for an eye) to appease the victims family or society in general. Capital punishment is about & rooted in, the permanent removal of violent felons deemed too dangerous to ever be released back into society including incarcerated society. Capital punishment is conceptually similar to weeding. A capital murderer deserves to be exterminated !

  • how can somebody celebrate death? it's the worst thing in existence, under most circumstances. i cannot think of any human who deserved death. maybe some people just do not value their own life enough to care for the life of others.

  • So only republicans approve of Death Penalty

  • @democratichypocrit yes all of them some democrats to i belive

  • stupid death penalty! the real punishement is a lifetime in prison even if they're murderers and monsters, you don't kill! those who inject the poison in their bodies or those who prononce the punishement don't worth better! they're murderers too

  • The state kills people in "my" name, and so when they kill an innocent man, that person's blood is on "our hands".

And BTW "Christians": Jesus got a "fair trial according to the standards of the TWO states that convicted him.

  • He has no mercy what so ever!!!

  • @MrLlofrudd

wow what they're doing is wrong.

we better do the exact same thing to show them that they're wrong.

you're dense, go get a ritalin prescription.

  • WHY ARE YOU CLAPPING

  • At least he's telling the truth when he said he's not ashamed to admit that he's a Christian! Suddenly it makes perfect sense!

  • @MrLlofrudd

I hope you realise how autistically contradictory your post was, idiot.

  • Did people forget that the Bible is full of murder? Besides religion I'm totally fine with killing people that have no part of being part of the human race.

  • fuck republicans

  • and this people believe in GOD?

  • Stupid religious fucknuts

  • I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a Christian, but I don't believe in "thou shall not kill".

  • @ElBarto3131 youre not crhistian, youre a faggot

  • @tetracatredoblehp

Fuck, I'd rather not waste my time explaining shit to a complete idiot, but I was referring to Rick Perry's "Strong" commercial where he started with the line "I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a Christian" but since that idiot supports the death penalty even tough killing is a sin in his self-proclaimed religion. But it seems like you and Perry share the same intelligence level, maybe you should vote for him.

  • Fake?

  • psychopaths....

  • These people are honestly savages; cheering on killing each other.

They say they adhere to the Bible, but one of the most important parts of that book is THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

These people should all be put through proper schooling or in an insane asylum.

  • @bobjenkins6969 But sir the bible also say in Genesis 9:6 "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man. So i would say that you are wrong and since you are so stupid enough to quote the bible when you have obiously not read it i will translate that in a way that even you will be able to understand. If anyone takes a human life, that person's life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.

  • @bobjenkins6969 I'll give half a shit what religion has to say about affairs of the State when religious organizations start paying taxes to the State. You've the nerve to insinuate people who support capital punishment should be re-educated (AKA Brainwashed) or remanded to a mental health facility. I say religious fanatics (possibly yourself) are the people who are already brainwashed, people who murder in the name of religion should be charged with capital murder & exterminated from society!!

  • @bobjenkins6969 yeah and thou shall not talk crap about a country such as America

  • Romney needs to wipe that smirk off his face.

  • The State of Texas has killed THREE innocent men within the past 20 years that I know of, maybe more, and actually Rick Perry stood by personaly and let one of the three die when he was told by arson investagators that the man was innocent, Perry did nothing to stop it.

  • @Corpopetrussien

I believe they moved from the chair, now it's lethal injection, death by firing squad, or something else that is extremely stupid. I agree with your view, I do live in america as a citizen, but my family is originally from Europe (I was born in Europe In Fact),we find it stupid how Americans don't know how little developed countries have this penalty. It doesn't make anyone any more right than the criminal if they decide to kill them. These People Are Uncivil & Inhumane.

  • @Michael0697

We find it stupid how fucking liberal the French are, and how they allow murderers to burn millions of tax paying dollars each year, while serving no justice to the victim's familes, and having murderers over crowd the prison systems. IF YOU KILL SOMEONE AND THERE IS ABSOULUTE EVIDENT TRUTH YOU DID IT, THAN YOU DON"T DESERVE TO LIVE. WHAT CAN"T YOU UNENLIGHTENED HALF-WITS UNDERSTAND?

  • @ajbren92 We understand it 100%.. The problem occurs when you watch our crooked justice system and have to TRUST that the authorities collected evidence properly. I'm American and I support the death row---but I want to make sure the guy is 100% guilty.

  • @tacp18

I agree with you right there, it should only be used if the person is 100% guilty, but there are alot of cases where the suspect is and it is never used.

  • @ajbren92 So basically, you're saying that killing people is wrong, and in order to prove this, we must kill people? Yeah, you make perfect sense there, pal.

  • @1norcal415

    No,

I say that we must execute those people who were found 100% guilty and took innocent lives, never did I say lets randomly kill people which you try to interpret, but I bet you never lost a friend to a homicide did you? Well I did, the bastard was found 20 years on 1st degree murder, no death penalty, extreme anger and no relief to my friends parents as well as most of my firends and me, so get your facts right you ignorant prick.

  • @ajbren92 I have my facts right. You said we need to kill people in order to serve justice for killing people.

And I'm sorry you lost a friend, but it doesn't justify another murder (killing the killer). You getting angry because they didn't kill the killer just shows that you are a vengeful person.

I'm not sure if you're Christian, but if so, you should know that Jesus said we should "turn the other cheek", and one of the ten commandments is "thou shalt not kill". Killing is wrong, period.

  • @1norcal415

No, actually I'm an atheist and don't follow any of the religion commandmants, I am also a liberal probably like you, but I am still one of a handful of liberals that support the death penalty. And yes, I am a vengeful person, most people are, its just human psychology but some people are better at holding it back, but my point is, I hate to see murderers get away with a slap on the wrist like far too many do in todays justice system.

  • @ajbren92 life behind bars is NOT a slap on the wrist, ESPECIALLY if we're talking about ADX Florence here. Seriously, I don't get the logic behind a lot of people in favor of the DP that "breathing=living", and by that, I mean actually live a meaningful life, no matter how dreaded and painful that existence is. It's this thinking that enables so much poverty, starvation, etc. Besides, we all know our justice system is too corrupt and imperfect to be entrusted with an irreversible penalty.

  • @1norcal415

Go onto Yahoo news and read the article "Suspect in NYC woman's burning appears in court," read the story and comments at the bottom and you will find almost all the readers in the article agree with the DP, and its savages like this which is why the DP should not be abolished. I am not trying to pick a battle, but suppose this happened to you mother, How would you feel? because I just like most other readers would strangle this bastard with our bare hands if we could!

  • @1norcal415 Another bible thumper attempting to lay a guilt trip on somebody whose not religiously superstitious. Questions to ponder; If you had your way & capital punishment was abolished in the U.S.A. Would a person who turned to vigilantism be guilty of 1st degree murder? What's the fate of a murderer who murders other inmates &/or murders a prison employee/guard while attempting to escape as Marcus Johnson did in Georgia? If a killer is serving life, what more can you do to him/her?

  • @70scarrestoguy First, I'm an atheist. I was merely trying to appeal to someone who I (mistakenly) thought was a Christian with their own leader's words.

If I had my way, prisons would only take violent criminals, (all other crimes handled by civil action/fines) and all inmates confined to solitary for their entire sentence, and forced to cover the costs of incarceration and any civil action for the victim/family of the victim (forced labor if unable to pay). But no death penalty, sorry.

  • @1norcal415 I stopped believing in religion around the same time I stopped believing in Santa Claus & many other stories rooted in human control.Did I give an indication that I was religious?I'd prefer to use prison space to house those prisoners who are capable of being rehabilitated.Capital murderers should never be released back into society due to their level of violence, should be permanently exterminated from society.Edwin Turner's execution day of 2/8 has been stayed, BBQ but no fireworks

  • @70scarrestoguy I'll say it AGAIN. I'm an atheist. And a life sentence without parole guarantees that a murderer is never released back into society. Like I said THE FIRST TIME, if I had it my way, only violent criminals would be in prisons, and they would pay for their own stay (eliminating any shortage of "prison space"). Basically, what you are saying is "I want to see revenge on them" via "an eye for an eye". Because nothing else you've said so far would necessitate the death penalty.

  • @1norcal415 Separation of Church & State. The State isn't very vulnerable to a religious induced guilt trip. Any State employee or elected official who refuses to do their job due to religious beliefs, should be fired & booted to the curb. How many cheeks would you have society turn?

  • @70scarrestoguy Are you illiterate, or just retarded? I said I'm an atheist. I'm all for separation of church and state. Re-read my last reply multiple times before you reply to this one with something stupid. Thank you.

  • @1norcal415 I'm neither illiterate nor retarded. I read your earlier comment, ("I'm not sure if you're Christian, but if so, you should know that Jesus said we should "turn the other cheek", and one of the ten commandments is "thou shalt not kill". Killing is wrong, period." 1norcal415 -1 month ago.) You keep saying your an Atheist yet you've written religious crap. Your another anti DP advocate. You FAIL posing as an Atheist. I'm done with your phony West Coast bullshit, sell it to another.

  • @70scarrestoguy READ THE FIRST REPLY I WROTE TO YOU. I'll even quote it for you, since you can't seem to find it: "First, I'm an atheist. I was merely trying to appeal to someone who I (mistakenly) thought was a Christian with their own leader's words."

Notice I said I was trying to use his own leader's words against him? I don't believe in Jesus Christ. I'm an atheist. But I thought the other guy was a Christian so I quoted his own God to refute him. If you still don't get it, you're hopeless.

  • @Michael0697 Do us a little favor & move back to Europe. We already have enough outsiders trying to judge us with their high & mighty moral values.Capital punishment wasn't conceived of killing criminals, nor is it about revenge for the victims loved ones or society in general.Capital punishment was conceived of weeding the unfit from society. It's about permanently removing violent felons who are deemed unfit to ever be released back into society.Being European, you don't understand the concept

  • @70scarrestoguy You're an idiot.

America stands out from other civilized countries of the world (Canada, France, UK) in many ways, and this is one of them.

America looks like a barbaric vengeful country for continuing to use this punishment that has many flaws.

First off it is irrevocable. If you find evidence the "criminal" is innocent, then too bad.

Second, it clogs up the courts through appeals.

I would also argue that it is cruel and unusual considering the other available punishments.

  • @Stickmaleboy 1)To quote yourself " stupid people shouldn't be on YouTube, turn off your computer & go to sleep". Apparently you lack the intellect to comprehend capital punishment, stick to watching music videos. There's nothing cruel or unusual about capital punishment, the condemned individual is unconscious, given a pain killer & then the fatal paralysing injection is administered. Unconscious & feeling no pain, sounds like a peaceful way to die. I don't see the cruelty, would you care to -

  • @70scarrestoguy 2) elaborate as to which aspect that you'd characterize as cruel or unusual. The appellate process is too costly because it's long overdue for an overhaul. A murderous POS like Troy Davis, shouldn't be able to extend their life for 22 years, five years is plenty of time for appeals. You stated that it's irrevocable; Duh!! Capital Punishment is the legal means to PERMANENTLY REMOVE those VIOLENT FELONS that are unfit to ever be released back into society. I don't much care -

  • @70scarrestoguy 3) if other nations think that the US is a barbaric & vengeful country. I don't expect overly religious Europeans or any brutalized 3rd world dictatorship to grasp the true function of capital punishment. If the U.S.A. stands out from other countries in a negative way, it's because we're allowing an over-sized government to steal our rights & our freedoms from us a piece at a time. I hate having a "leader" whose more focused upon forcing his foreign ideals on us rather than -

  • @70scarrestoguy 4) attempting to jump-start our economy. Until we get rid of President Obama's foreign perspective & his foreign policies, the U.S.A. will continue to slip deeper into the abyss. It's obvious that the Troy Davis Circus was a media driven political attempt to revive the capital punishment debate. Certain politicians can't get elected to office without manipulating the emotional frailty of weak minded individuals. Take capital punishment for the religious feeble minded, sprinkle -

  • @70scarrestoguy 5) the NAACP, Amnesty International, ACLU over it for the minority vote, add the Caucasians who are made to feel ashamed for racism that occurred 100 years ago. Then top it off with the Reverend wannabe politician twins & a highly opinionated Pope. They may as well toss the Westboro Baptist Church on the Circus Pile of media regurgitating Zombies. I'm voting against Obama & I'd vote to eliminate the tax exempt status of the Church if the Pope interferes with matters of the State

  • @70scarrestoguy Stalker

Anyway, it's nice of you to forget the other half of the phrase cruel and unusual.

Relative to the other punishment of prison time, killing a person is unusual.

I haven't even got the fact that the death penalty is much more expensive than life imprisonment. The amount of time spent wading through courts to get a final verdict costs the taxpayer a pretty penny

And for what? So we can kill them and achieve the same result as putting them in prison without parole?

  • @Stickmaleboy There's nothing "unusual" about capital punishment. I'd counter that locking a human being in a cage similar to a Monkey or a Tiger at the Zoo was unusual punishment. I'd rather die while in an induced peaceful sleep rather than spend 30 years locked in a cage. As far as the death penalty being far more expensive than a life sentence. I covered that issue; the U.S.A. needs to restructure the appellate process & exterminate within 5 years, those felons unfit to return to society.

  • @70scarrestoguy or they can just get life imprisonment without parole like most 1st world countries.

  • @70scarrestoguy I'm referring to those violent felons who've committed aggravated/capital murder, rape etc & will commit violent crimes whether their incarcerated or not. Some people just don't fit into society, their an extreme danger to society at large as well as incarcerated society & prison staff. That's where capital punishment is a means of permanently eliminating such dangerous felons from society. "killing a person is cruel" spread your word to potential murderers, my mind's made up!

  • @70scarrestoguy Who the Hell are you calling Stalker? Your the one who retorted my comment, so I re-retorted what I perceived to be your flawed logic & your media brainwashed point of view. The entire Troy Davis Media Circus knew they couldn't save Davis nor did they care to. That was nothing but politics, the threat of reviving the capital punishment debate. All too many of their feeble minded victims were left feeling "Mind Fucked" by the media saturation of political organizations lies.

  • And stop to sell weapons every where and for every one like we sell bread, that's a non-sense. Man, I wish you could understand french, because I've got some little things to answer about "bunch of pussies" and the other things...

  • Ourtortsystem : maybe we'll stay away when you fuckers will stay away from ours ! Dissolve OTAN, close the CIA's disgraceful prisons in eastern Europe, stop hassle everybody with your evangelists puppies, then we'll maybe could talk !

The death penalty is essential ? Great, man. Everybody knows in France that USA have the less criminality rate in the world, thanks to death penalty !

Want some advices ? Burn the fuckin electric chair (or wathever else you found to kill people)...

  • @ourtortsystem he fucking sucks

  • i agree

those sleazebags who kill people must be pit to death like rabid curs they are

i support the death penalty, screw those monsters, let them fry

  • From France : Rick Perry is a fucking insane murderer. Like everybody else, he doesn't deserves death penalty, but he surely deserves the worst next penalty ! Please, excuse my English. USA should be a great country but... death penalty. Barbarian.

  • @Corpopetrussien

you french are a bunch of pussies, panzies, candy ass dolts, don't meddle in the US affairs, stay away from them

the death penalty is essential in every country, it's integral in curbing crime and serving justice

if you pussy footed french gay morons cant get it, shut the hell up already, we're sick of your gay inane ideas!!!!!!!!!

  • just... u know, yeah, keep death penalty, I mean, where's the problem with less US morons on earth ? There is no fuckin problems with that for me ! Less US freaks to break our europeens nuts ! =D

  • never vote for a hick

  • @ddd11236

    screw you,

i wish Perry was elected president, then he would reinstate the death penalty in all states and expedite the executions of all death row inmates.

its not fair that some states don't execute criminals and instead let them die on death row. kill those mofos like they did before!!!!

  • @ourtortsystem

I agree with you, fuck the French and socialist Europe.Stupid liberals try to argue that the death penalty doesn't deter crime, well the truth is, it is not used enough to determine it. And I know for a fact if someone in my family was murdered or a good friend of mine, I would want them dead, that's the only justice I would have than to allow them to get 20 to 25 years in prison while they use thousands of tax paying dollars such as my money to keep them alive.

  • @fasfsdfasd Your Mother = Welfare Bum

Yeah, you idiots probably voted for Obama! Pieces of shit...

  • @fasfsdfasd You really don't understand logic, how about this go to your local community college and take a few philosophy classes. Honestly religion is like have having a big ****, it's nice to have just don't start shoving it down our throats.

  • @fasfsdfasd

Haha, sure, you can interpret the bible in any way you want. Doesn't mean it's righteous. At all. In fact, a lot of people used the bible and interpreted to say that blacks should be slaves, that women shouldn't have rights, etc., so go interpret the bible but keep away from society.

  • @fasfsdfasd If that is what you believe than fine you have the right to do so, but don't use the teachings of Christ as your motivation/support because then you have a serious fallacy in your logic.

  • @fasfsdfasd You might want to read the Bible more. I really think that right wing Christians, are willing to lie about anything to live in some make believe world.

  • The death penalty in Texas is kind of an oxymoron. It is one of the most Christian states, right in the bible belt. Christ teaches about forgiveness and yet they accept the death penalty... weird...

  • Rick Perry = Adolf Hitler

  • @fasfsdfasd And I do believe they are worth living. But behind bars.

  • @fasfsdfasd I believe in justice and natural human rights.Coming from Gordon Steidl, he was falsely accused of murdering 2 people and was put on death row.He stayed there for 12 years and then was given a life sentence after Illinois spend 3.5mil. trying to kill him. He spend 5 years in a open cell block where the prospect of being stabbed and raped loomed constantly. He was exonerated due to his alibi. He stated "it is worse than dying" (life-sentence without parole) life is sacred

  • @fasfsdfasd Matthew 5:38-39-“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39:But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

this means do not respond with aggression. Also by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person

justice for murderes would be serving a life sentence in prison w/ out parole, not death.

  • @fasfsdfasd 6th, I meant.

  • @fasfsdfasd Your so, so, so wrong sir/ ma'am. God? Do you know what the first commandment is? Does "THOU SHALL NOT KILL" ring a fucking bell? Dipshit. When our government kills a killer, that just fuels the fire of this circle. The killing people does not solve any solution. If we lock someone in prison for life, that will do them good. Id rather die then spend years in prison.

  • Stop arguing with liberals! They'll never get it! The last time I debated the death penalty with one, she responded "well of course, if someone kills someone in MY family, I would want them to get the death penalty." I answered "so it's ok to kill someone in my family, but not yours!" They are twisted, sick people. Move on. They're not worth it.

  • I believe in the Death Penalty. I also don't lose any sleep

  • there's always a risk someone get condemned by mistake that's why death penalty should be stopped.

  • Why is America so arrogant? You have so many issues to deal with before you try to spread your "Democracy" to nations that don't want your soldiers killing their citizens.

Ow, just sprained my finger typing, cos I was so angry. Ah well, I guess I'll use my country's free healthcare system, so it won't cost me a penny !! Happy days.

  • In the same line of reasoning, there are that many people committing these kinds of crime in Texas, and you want use to elect you to run the US?

  • Those who are not agreed with this wise man, must grow up a little bit and realise that this is the way to organise a community.

    Crime = Heavy Sentences

  • @nicob89 Then why is the USA the most crime-ridden western country? All other western countries disallow the death penalty.

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha...you can see the Hellfire in his eyes. This man is possessed by the raunchiest of demons.

  • barbaric religion is responsible for this coward and his failed upbringing.

  • freaks

  • When Perry said "the state of Texas has a very thoughtful, clear process, I literally yelled "bullshit" at my monitor.

  • @Herculieas It is very clear. You get murdered. Not so thoughtful though.

  • @Herculieas good for you.

  • @Herculieas

It's not bullshit, because although I wouldn't vote for Perry, he and the state of Texas actually knows how to get things done and enforce the Death Penalty, eliminate the scum from society, and serve justice to the victimes family.

  • America sucks

  • I live in norway where we had a massacre where a norwegian citizen killed 80 people. He won't face death penalty, but he will live in prison his whole life. Death penally is a law that should not exist because the state or country are doing the same crime as the killer did. Death penalty should be illegal all over the world.

  • @kjetilsenNOWAY So no death penalty for Hitler?

  • @kjetilsenNOWAY I totally agree, death penalty in itself is murder, but instead by majority vote.

USA is the only western country who still has a death penalty, and they like to show it on tv, a tradition dating back to lynching negros for the public.

In a country where 40million live under the poverty line they spend more on prisons than welfare...

Barbarians...all of them, down to the last average joe who voted for the politician not abolishing this law.

  • @syntaxed2 The only people who ever get the death penalty are people that murder others. They don't deserve to be given a life when they didn't even give their victims a chance to live-- have you ever thought about that?

  • @Coastergeekperson04 yes, but why would you cheer? this just confirmed my theory that republicans have no soul

  • @fasfsdfasd execution. He isn't truly comforted by the execution, he just keeps pushing, wanting more and more executions for murderers. He still today is a staunch supporter of the death penalty. He still today doesn't have his daughter back.

  • @fasfsdfasd I can look at the families of victims after witnessing their executions and know what their reactions were. Vernon Harvey, the father of a killed 18-year-old girl who strongly pushed for the death penalty to be invoked in the case, was jubilant after witnessing the killer's execution, but said "I just wish they would've killed 'em slower, more painful-like, so he could feel what he did to my daughter." He's still a very, very thirsty man, wanting revenge even after the...

  • @fasfsdfasd no, you cannot determine who's guilty and who's innocent with a 100% accuracy. Innocent people have already been executed by the state in the U S of A. Are you like a stubborn child who only can find solace with the biblical eye for an eye? Why does your country have to kill people in the name of justice? Why not imprison them? They are just as harmless behind bars then six feet under. And it's much cheaper to imprision someone than execute him/her.

  • And what's that humbug about "get your ethics in order" about. Do you belive it's unetical not to kill someone? It's illegal to kill someone in every country on earth, and please let it stay that way. Regardless if the murdering is done by the state or a man.

  • @fasfsdfasd monster out of their lives. Ask the death row guards if they enjoyed killing a man they'd taken care of for five years. Ask yourself what would happen if we all looked at the worst thing you'd ever done in your life and judged you on that. Read a book by Sister Helen Prejean. Know your facts.

  • @fasfsdfasd Do you honestly, truly, sincerely believe the death of a murderer gives any solace to the family of the victim? Do you think that killing the murderer would give the family their child/parent/sister/brother back? Do you think they'll be able to deal with the loss any better knowing the killer is gone? Ask people who have had family members die of AIDS if they feel better knowing that the virus can be treated now. Ask the family of the murderer if they're glad to have that

  • @fasfsdfasd So do you think that innocent people get found guilty in court?

  • @fasfsdfasd I'm talking about right now, 2011, do you think that innocent people never get convicted in court?

  • @fasfsdfasd You don't think that innocent people get found guilty?? Really?

  • @YoureAlwaysRight ofcourse they can be, framed for example.

  • @fasfsdfasd Would Jesus cheer at someones death?

  • Comment removed

  • "i am the most pro life polotician" rick perry. some people could be innocent you stupid fuck.

  • @SouthGeorgiaIslander Arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win your still a retard. And you my good sir are in fact a retard.

  • never this man AS president. NEVER !!!!

  • No he hasn't struggled with it. You know why? These pathetic politicans sell their soul for government. And those mindless idiots applauding it. Texas executed a innocent man Todd Willingham and Perry let it happen. Sad, Sad, Sad.

  • @TBAKC Most of the guys on death row don't want to die.

  • I never did understand the death penalty. To me its just revenge on someone and it also dont make us look any smarter. If you wanna get justice done to the bastord dont be so easy on them like if you kill them its like letting them take a easy way out.its better to give em hell on earth since this world is a hell whole. After seeing somethings i saw in my life i feel dying is so much better then living and if i hate someone id leave them here in a hell world and id go die.

  • @mizzoulibertarian Abortions and executions don't really compare. That's like saying "What if you like apples but don't like oranges?"

  • @PullenJoe I would say it's pretty effective.

  • Awful and barbaric, how come people like these get elected for anything higher up than janitor of the year? Srsly, death penalty was cool in medieval times, and it should've been left there...

  • That itself , is enough to earn my vote.

  • The death penalty is simply not effective. More importantly look how many inmates are wrongfully convicted only years later to be released when DNA proves their innocence. The main problem is the poor suffer the most with inadequate representation. We HAVE sent innocent people to death. We should be ashamed as a nation founded by Christians to be gleeful of such a tragic approach to justic. But I guess that's Perry for you.

  • Christians do not, or at least should not, follow the Old Testament Law regarding the death penalty. Christians are follows or Christ and his ways. I think that is why some people are posting on here their dissaproval of the death penalty and also saying they are Christ-ians (followers of Christ). I don't think they are being hypocritical about it. It seems obvious that the methods in which these death sentence convictions are reached needs to be addressed and fixed.

  • @YoureAlwaysRight I also look at it this way. If a murderer is guilty then they face eternal punishment. Since eternal is eternal then why rush them to the gallows? They will still face the same fate eventually if they spend their lives in prison first. The death penalty is upholding an eye for an eye which according to the sermon on the mount should be substituted for turn the other cheek. Now I don't suggest they walk free but what good does killing them do? Just my take on it.

  • It's not that the people who actually are guilty always deserve to die, they institute this because we can't be sure if its possible for them to be re-introduced to society without committing further crimes. But sometimes it is used because the person just deserves to die. And I think that if there is risk of serving the death penalty that they should be more intuitive with their investigations of whether or not the person is innocent or not.
