@lizzym3 I think Hillcrest Heights or Homes are the apartments on Stanton Rd that are about to be razed. I don't know the actual name of these apartments though. I got a video and some pictures of the apartments on Stanton Rd coming up.

@lizzym3 I know Verbena is one of them because I remember driving down it. I don't remember seeing an actual sign. There is about 3 sections of apartments over there...this is only one. Folks actually live in the rest of them if there not boarded up.

@lizzym3 - Term is correct. Hillcrest Homes is in East Point on Stanton Road (RIP). Dixie Hills is a neighborhood. I bet one of the Dixie Hill apartments was onced named Hillcrest Heights. But today, all three of those jumbled up together apartments in Dixie Hills on Verbana Road (where the girls were murdered) are called Hidden Village, Crystal Estates, and Verbena Gardens. Haven't been there in a while, but it wasn't nothing nice back in the day.

Back in the late 80's early 90's this hood was one of the worst on the westside...remember seeing the miami boys kill a bigtime drugdealer one nite by the wash house. Booty butt and (rip)Spanky ran Dixie Hills.

@terminuszone1 I started in 2004. The worst I personlly worked in Z1 were bowen homes and bankhead courts. University homes and herndon homes were not as bad. Hollywood courts had its moments. Etheridge is also a bad spot
