@thebobertone well, it's homemade, so its not like I can see the American flag on the moon. lol. But, considering the fact that it is homemade, it basically doubles how you would see the moon with normal eyes.

@thedeathskittle yes it does actually. That's why you have to get a good position and then hold it. It might take a minute or 2 to get the perfect position, but one you get it, you can tape it so it doesn't move.

Just a quick question: is the mirror and hole to see the sky necessary? Or are the two magnifying glasses enough? Also, could you explain how you put the magnifying glasses into the tube and how you made one of them not moving?

@kashlineboy it depends on your eyepiece angle, if the eye piece is 90 degrees, then it should be 45 degrees.
