I love this version. I have been trying to find the libretto which they set to Chopin's music for the opera scenes - it works so beautifully as opera!

Folks we dont need someone elses rendition of music in this CLASSIC. THis great Masterpiece needs no altered music. LETS LEAVE IT AS IT Is. ITS BRILLIANT ACADEMY AWARD WINNER. Its perfect as it is. but i guess they call it freedom of speech to try something. i call it abuse of freedom of speech. I cherish this film. its letter perfect . PHANTOM OF THE OPERA A MEGA HIT.
