@tyman754 Javelins have two options for firing. One is direct fire, which is what you see in the video. The other is top fire, which is what you're referring to where the missile goes up, over, and then down on top.

Generally top fire is preferable on a tank, but an example of where you would select direct fire is if the tank were parked under an overpass. If you selected top fire the missile would lose track of the tank when the overpass blocked its view, but with direct fire it would keep the heat signature in view.

It should also be noted that a real Javelin is incapable of recognizing a visible laser designation.

@mlbjsb It's a curvy line between realism and bad gameplay in games isn't it. Usually a javelin missile will take 1 to fuck a tank up in real life. But in a game it's just bad gameplay. Kinda like how food(in this hypothetical rpg let's say), where it replenishes your energy levels immediately. That may be unrealistic, but would you like to wait 24 in game hours(no clue if that's accurate to a human metabolism), to get the benefits.
